Please do not remove the black box, it may make your PCB total loss; if you want to remove the FET, you can use cuter to cut on the Leg of FET, and them make it clean, install the new FET on it.
And for the 1st, 2nd and 4th level of FETs are not hard to install. Do it slower, you can make it!By the way, what FET you going to install?
For how many FET you need, which is depend on what motor you what to use.
In MR-01
For PN S01, S02, S03 you may need a toubo or 3004 – 5×2, 3006 – 5×2, G2 – 4×2
For other 35t motor, you need 3006 – 5×2 or G2 – 4×2
In MR-02 for any optional motor, you need G2 2×2 + G4 2×1.I do not have Mini-X and XMODS, but I think XMODS is much better than Mini-X. And I also interest about XMOD.
Hi Leonli17,
Please send me email, and I mail you my address, OK?

If you use pinion is a 8tp, you get a very special X-Speed or very special batteries, the mix speed normal X-Speed in 8t pinion gear is arround 26-30km/h. If you put 2 of G2 FET can it to 33-35km/h. It is check by the TAMIYA 4WD Speed Checker.:smiley16:
Hello betty.k,
Do you payed for the iWaver, if no, please don’t buy it, because I have one iWaver. And I find it has some problem as follow:
1. The VR, 1st Servo Gear, Servo Box, Servo motor is bigger than Kyosho, so you can not use Kyosho single part to replace it. Or, you have to replace hold servo. (it is very easy to bread)
2 The font knuckle can not fit with Ball Bearing. So you have to using Kyosho Knuckle or 3rd Party Knuckle for Ball Bearing.
3 The PCB is not same as Kyosho one (hold board design), so we can not put Mini-Z FET on it.
Only one thing is good, it works with 3PK, MJ and 2PL.:D
I think the point is how many sec to meet the 39km/h?
I also have a F1, and I can but 6 for the G2 FET on it, and I can use PN SO1 motor on it. It is very fast..:D
