😀Quote:Actually, would an overland be better suited for driving around the house? Like it would be able to take carpet, etc.home carpet or racing carpet?
If you like to play at home anywhere, take Mini-Z Monster:smiley2:

if you can spare the $$, go the mr02. superior in many ways…..
ph2t.

Anyone interest to setup a nice track for RACE?:smiley2:

It can be handle upto 15 Mini-Z or 1:18 at the sametime and it is contects to the computer by USB cable, very easy to use.:)Edited by – ken_wyleung on 20 January 2005 19:23:08
Quote:ahhhhh so thats the mr015whats the point?
does it have a break function?
it has a servo saver but isnt the mr02 a better thing anyway with its better located batts?
Can fit with the small body, not like the MR-02 just wide body only. That’s mean we can use old MR-01 body on MR-015.
Quote:My MR-02 wheels and tires are getting trashed. So I’m looking for some nice new ones. Are all MR-02 tires the same size?
And what about wheels – can I put Skyline wheels on my NSX?I’m confused. :dead:
What surface you are going to play?
MR-01 and MR-02 are using same size of tire, if you play on carpet, 8 degree is fine; if you play on outdoor, the tire will finish quick. If you like to know the wheel size (wheel base), you better check with the Kyosho web-site; it has all detail.

It was very nice, please let me know for the next meeting!
Thank you!:D

Mini-Z 40MHz is FM, and it is design for KO EX10 FM or Kyosho FM control (EX5) only, it can not use other FM control. It is MR-01 and MR-02 type. It is more detail in Kyosho web-site.
I don’t think it can fit, it is not because the wheel and body, it is the chassic wide. MR-02 is wider than MR-01.
😀Quote:Hi,I’m thinking of getting an altezza body to put on my mr-02 nsx with wide rears.. however the altezza uses normal size rears?
So how do i got about it? Will it fit normally or what?
Thanks 😉
Quote:It can fit MR01 chassis but u’ll need motor mount change, u can’t use RM motor mount.MR-02 MM body can not fit MR-01 chassic. It is too long for MR-01.:smiley2:
I also want, but the servo gear only. After the servo gear broken, it can not work at all.
MSN me, I let you know the price!
Quote:i’m not fussed about the brand, just so long as it’s not total rubbish. from what i can gather, the o plates offer more movement than an h plate. and after experimenting with various designs on the suspension bits i’ve concluded that an o plate is probably what i’m after. i want something that allows up/down flex like a stock kyosho plastic h plate, and good roll flex so that the shocks are doing most of the suspension work, not the h plate. and i want it to be carbon fibre for longevity. i’ve found the stiff carbon fibre ones good on nice even surfaces, but out on the road if i was to scale it up it’s the equivalent of driving on cobble stones. so sensitive suspension is important to me for handling and keeping all 4 tyres on the ground.:8ball:Quote:i’m really happy with the properties of the stock plastic h plate, but i’m sure it’s gonna break soon enough. i’ve found that even with the thinnest carbon fibre one it’s still too stiff in the vertical motion. lotsa roll though. so is there any really flexy cf h plates around? and what’s the deal with those o plates?:8ball:You want Kyosho one or other band?
I have bold.:DQuote:apparently kyosho servo gears are not compatible with i waver servos. so i think if you wanna replace any part of the iwaver servo you’re gonna hafta buy the whole unit.:8ball:I have an iWaver Mini-Z, and I can tell you the iWaver is not same as Kyosho Mini-Z MR-01. So, it is not 100% clone.
1 VR, 1st Servo Gear, Servo Box, Servo motor is bigger than Kyosho, so you can not use Kyosho single part to replace it. Or, you have to replace hold servo.
2 The font knuckle can not fit with Ball Bearing. So you have to using Kyosho Knuckle or 3rd Party Knuckle for Ball Bearing.

Quote:eeeyup!:approve: i hads me a breakthrough! i tried the paper, caps across the terminals, replaced the wires. but the problem was in the variable resistor in the servo. it musta got a little dirty cos after a little bit of teflon oil on the contact she’s steady as a rock again!:smiley16: i only used the oil as i don’t have any crc or wd40 around (sacriledge!!!!) if it stuffs up again i’ll use crc to flush it out. big thank you to ken for his invaluable help!:smiley2::8ball:You are welcome, it’s work for me, and I hope work for you.:smiley2:
Quote:BTW i’ve heard of an experienced stock racer using just Xspeed and 7t to pull more laps than a PNso1 Fetted Z! Apparently, the extra speed made for extremely taxing cornering.I have virtually no memory of what it’s like to run stock motor and 6t. Perhaps i should try that…..but DAMN it’s gonna be slow as slugs.
With the stock car, you can use X-Speed with 8t, it can give you upto 32km/h. It also very fast.:D And I also enjoy to play stock with X-Speed too.:D
Quote:yeah that makes for the best racing, plus the person with the best racing style wins, not the one who uses the biggest power boost.any monkey can go fast in a straight line, takes skill to corner and not spin out!
YES, so true! Speed is not everything.:D
