GeoZ: u have a S03 with TLP Twin Turbo right? u should be able to reach 40kph plus on speed checker no problem with big pinions. My motor is pretty much like a S03 without neo magnets. THe turbo is a V2 but double stacked.

ANd man the second movie is good. but we missed the scene when the M03 hit my Z’s front and flew up. my Z got away with just a tire mark on the bonnet.

the seond car crossed the finish line was my miniZ. except it’s not on the movie.
And my MiniZ topped out 46kph on the speed checker with 11t pinion and 37t armature.

well, that won’t work well. u don’t need speed in drifting. speed would just make the car understeer(actully the car won’t even turn). normally a 27t or 23t is the best for drifting.

nice! 7cell with a 11t is better. u want a good accleration, but the stock motor is really torquy so nothin to worry about. oops, i think a bit off topic so we can start a new topic if u want.

8 tooth pinion is perfect for drifting if u only have 4cell, but it’s best with 6cell and 9t. i made plastic wheels myself(imitate 1/10) and it drift really well and fast.

One point, if u just want to play drifting, use drift tires which u can make them urself(otherwise u gonna trade the hard tires for fun which is still cool). If u have the XMOD with PVC tires like the 1/10, u can drift it(just for fun)since no traction and it won’t spin out if u practise more, u just keep the acclerator open all through a corner without counter steering then u get the fastest corner speed(that’s what i’ve been practise with my MRS4) and it can drift a few metres if i go full speed so it’s fun. i’ll try to get some hard tires onto my Z and play around see how it is.
