it’s good to hear that u have a track. not many people in melb has tracks. so i think this miro rc show is great idea.
welcome to this site rx3rotary.
u live in melbourne too right?
Then Kmart is the shop to go if u want Compact Char-g(Tomy). It cost $50.
But some of the clones on sell in melbourne is (or was) really good. If u don t expact to pay a lot on the first Micro RC car. THen go to the closest market to u and u might find someone setup a small area selling RC cars. Or u can go to get a Tomy made in Toys R Us, Kmart. Or hobby place near Melbourne Central. What are the Lxx one’s like??
well the Lxx are just like Bit or Compact Char-g.
Except it is not made by Tomy . It is a clone.Which suburb are u live in Melbourne?

does the mod really effective on saving the battery. lets say u left car turned off for 1 hour, will it still run after that?
I’ll say use the dual cell mod is really good for the monster truck. Because u prob just use a 1.0 for the truck so it will have a lot of torque. A dual cell is the one for your truck. unless u want use the MosFet mod so the car won’t be as heavy. Then I suggest do the Normal MOSFET and the steering MOSFET
micro_Amps: did u get them in melbourne? if u did, where did u get them?
And could anyone post some pics of those jaycars?
Conraha—don’t use Rechargeble batteries for a charger. if your controller is only for control not charging then it’s fine. But if u charge the Dual Cell cars they won’t charge because the rechargeble batteries only have 2.4-2.5V when Alkaline batteries has 3V.

Hotrods are 1/3 the size of a BCG. Only go forward and reverse. The otherone is called X Trek. Use two motors. One on each rear wheel. the steering is rear wheel.
depends on what cars do u want to run on your track. but 6cm is small for any cars even the 1.0s need some thing like 15cm to run comfortablly.
I think they actully turns.
sorry. here is a better link
http://www.productivity.net/Silverlit/PRXtrekConsumer.htmactully I know what they like now except the steering. are they same as BCG as well?
here is the link to it
http://www.productivity.net/Silverlit/PRXtrek.htmThe bodies fit on char-gs perfectly. but the motors doesn’t. u need some luck to get a good performance one. the shells, u can see them from outside the cover. so u can pick a good one.
The series 2 Compact char-gs are same as first ones except the shells. but i found out that the 2.2 motors can have big differences sometimes.
Ok. I run my car 6.25M a few times. And the average is 2.76sec. i want to see more people post their results here.
I bought a Metallic Blue Celica “Precious”. THey are the new series of Bit Char-A. It is pretty good.(better than a stock BCG) but i think u have to have some luck to get a good one.
I am not really sure about the motor. The motor doesn’t fit Bit Char-g’s chassis.
Ops my mistake. The $20 ones i got is “Precious”. I think they are the new series brought out by Bit Char-A. The $13 ones i mentioned are absolutely crap. when i saw them i quickly walked away.
i measured up 1M distance. Then i setup two sensors at each end. i put the car at one end which push against the sensor which will start a stop watch once the car left the sensor. when the car hit the other sensor at the other end. the stop watch stops. i run the test 10 times and the average will be the result.
I didn’t got this from the internet so it’s hard for u guys to get it. I live in Melbourne. two weeks ago i was shopping in Greensbourgh Plaza(Melway 20 right hand corner). not in a shop but someone setup a table with all those Bit Char-As on them. There were also some Hummers, and some Hotrods. Now I can’t find that guy anymore. But i saw some same looking but different brand ones for $13(start this Thursday for 1 week) in The Warehouse. So i will go there and buy some of them. I also saw new Series 2 Compact Char-gs in Kmart’s Catalogue(for next week). THey sell them for $40 now. On the catalogue they show a RX7 red 27mhz. I think series 2 should have NSX too.
The Holden/HRT microRC cars will sell for $30 in Kmart next week too. So i will spend alota money next week. :approve:one more thing what type of MOSFETs r they? like which model?
yeah it really helps micro_Amps. thankx…. Have u done one on a Bit Char-A? or the HSV RC car?
