the only problem now is with the new fet upgrade my Bloody tires wont stay on need ideas on that one cause superglue just doesnt do it the next set of three spoke im gonna make is http://www.rcmart.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=144_21_69_153&products_id=2220
well technically they will be 6 spokes but i you know what i mean

well i dont have a speed checker though it has made a huge difference im running a xspeed pro motor with atomic premium brushes and a 8t pinion much much better over stock anyday sorry i cant compare the fets with any other seeing as this is the first fet upgrade ive done

thanks again for the 7317fets aaron perfect solution to a common problem(slow car syndrome) suprisingly the rims are still pretty strong gave the 01 a good bash on the road last night no damage to the rims though i did manage to break a alloy knuckle(dont Ask):)

believe me i have had one of them resin kits the VK commodore and well lets just say it didnt survive the first flip it shattered into 5 pieces granted they are nicely detailed static models but thats all they are you can try it though its definately not worth blowing 30bucks for 40second of fun.

yeah thats what i was hoping they will change it to 4wd cause it aint really a monster if its not 4wd 2wd its just a truck with big wheels 🙂

now the question of the day is……….i read on another forum that there will be a radical redesign of the monster early next year so if iwaver is changing the design does that mean kyosho is working on a new monster? be interesting to find out if that is the case

nope digikey aint got em though they do have the 7389’s i know the 7389’s are readily available but isnt the SI4562DY a better fet?

i think intially the I02 is gonna have the same old fets as the original I01 and i think the new fets go into the rerelease of the I02 which i think is in january ive got the new and old boards out of the I01 series and the new board is definately an improvement

i did have a gws A10 warbird though it met with pilot error and well foam doesnt handle impacts with trees and well the plane died but all the electronics are perfect

unfortunately bithead i dont have a kyosho MR02 though i can take some measurements if that helps but i do want a monster just gotta wait till i can get rid of this 6ch transmitter before i can get one

TE are really gearing up for the Iwaver invasion they even now have an I01pro i would say its the new chassis and pro motor

bout bloody time they bought i02 out..$110aud for an I01 what a blatant rip off you can get it from TE for $75aud shipped to your door and you dont even have to get out of your comfy chair sheesh that is what really sh*ts me about australian businesses they think the australian consumer is so ignorant to the rest of the world so mean they can charge us what ever they like and we wouldnt know the difference see this is the very reason why i Dont by from local hobby dearlers is cause i can get it cheaper on the net and for them to be selling at $110 is proof though i do let my local hobby store know i buy off the net too just to rub it in they are overpriced.Sorry for the rant but im just sick of money hungry dodgy brothers retailers here in the West.

yeah im not happy about the servo gears there is at least a 4mm play in it that make straight runs at stock high speed a little tricky so back to the drawing board on that one. btw does any one know when the 02/03/04 iwavers come out??? sorta sick of waiting might just bite the bullet and just buy a kyosho MR02 but the look of the new iwaver transmitters are keeping me patient.can you guys give me any suggestions to a decent motor to run with a nelly 1.2 i know you guys say any will work though im still a Zvirgin here so me looking at the different motors tell me bugger all though i am considering the atomic t2 at rcmart just by the share rpm of it 🙂

thanks for that betty i muchly appriciate it btw it was your yellow gtr that started this mod off i wasnt to fussed on the stickers sorry though the colour and meshing the front venting started me thinking what else can i do and well here is the GrunTeR
