It’s my fiancee’s fuji finepix a303. http://www2.fujifilm.co.uk/digital/cameras/a303/
those pictures are at 25% of the original size…I just checked the old forums (didn’t realise they were still available). actually, the initial D set didn’t have a crippler, so the upper picture is of a totally unsullied PCB.
Here’s my 27 MHz controller for reference- a classic gen 1 BCG board, it came crippled, and I removed the offending capacitor. the PCB itself is identical to my flatemate’s 57Mhz (s2000) controller that was uncapped and unopened until today.
Here’s the history set.
the classic cripple cap is missing, but we do have an extra capacitor not on the older set. also there are 2 new holes on the PCB for it (ringed with a white oval) at the top end. the bottom end seems to attach directly the blue wire (arial). It’s also woth mentioning that My original 27MHz set (initial D set) and my 27 super bit char-G set don;t interfere with each other as well.
assuming this holds true for the 40Mhz sets, it might be possible to run ten tomy cars simultaneously…Yes, that’s it, only the convertible was a one-off for the bond film. All the other ones were fastbacks, though there weren’t many built.
if you’ve got a PS2 and GT2 or automodellista, thhe car’s in those games…
Gorgeous car.
To get back on topic- at the weekend, I gave my flat mate his birthday present of a lambo super BCG. (27Mhz A). this ran perfectly happily alongside my porsche (27Mhz B) with no problems.
Because they are unofficial imports.
Here’s how it breaks down in the UK
27Mhz (26.96-27.28) can be used for CB radio and general R/C models.
35Mhz (34.945-35.305) can be used for R/C airborne models
40Mhz (40.66-41.00) can be used for R/C surface models.no worries- I was correcting HLJ, not you..
If it doesn’t have the wing, it’s a Muira, not a Jota. only the one Jota was ever built… thhough, name inaccuracy aside, it does look good in that colour and without the wing.
there s not much in it, but the rears are slightly bigger. swapping one of my porsche’s rear tyres onto its front wheel gives a very loose tyre.

the white things are little barriers that go on top of the cones. you can use it to make a little “garage” for autocross/gymkhana courses.
They’re the same things that came with the AE86 tune-up box, only they were red in that set.3 of the frequencies on the orignial BCGs (35, 45, and 57) were illegal (well, not licensed for R/C toy use) outside japan, but 27 and 40 are the standard frequency bands (at least in the UK) for all R/C toys, so it shouldn’t be a problem…
yes- the wheels are of differing sizes, but the gears themselves are the same.
