The motor in mine Compact Charg-G was slow aswell.

But lucky i had a spare motorfrom my earlier buy from Aaron.

The black pinion comes in the gear set too. I think that the kit comes with 2 or 3 black pinions .

You really need the black pinion on your motor.

Hi, I live in Pooraka and would love to have a dedicacted mini/micro track…anyone know if theres tracks for Micro RS4’s as well? Right now a pool table is all I got. Lemme know if anything comes up =) Or a project for a local community thing wouldn’t be too much trouble I guess…I think we’ll just need more people =)

G-17 Subaru Impreza WRX (White) 57MHz – YES, on back.

Interestingly, the one end of the crip cap was soldered to the D3 (resistor?) point instead of the expected R9 resistor point. Once excised, the car’s range increased from approximately 3m to roughly 12m.

Strangely, there seems to be a ‘dead zone’ at around 8m, where the car stutters a little, but beyond that it operates as normal. I’m not sure if this dead zone is caused by the fact that the signal is forced to travel through a doorway, but I’m guessing it could also be due to interference from an intercom base station in the area. Any other suggestions?

Sorry to hear of your problem Paintwiper, I have ordered things before and a few of my friends have all ordered Bit CharG’s from Toyeast, they’ve always turned up within 7 working days to the UK. Fingers crossed my OEM Thunder gets here ok as well, hope your problem comes to a satisfactory conclusion.

I have and they said I must wait till 30Aug to file a trace.

You need to write an email to Piet or Steve. When I had problems with toy east they contacted me within hours of my emails. I’ve even heard of them sending out free stuff as compensation. Never to me though 🙁

Yes they do come with a black + white pinion.

If, by “stock axle” you mean the Bit Char-G axle, thenyou use the black pinion…

this is the bottom line:

2.2 motor is the same whether it says BIT RACER or BIT CHAR-G.

STOCK Bit Char-G axel = black pinion.

MODIFIED Bit Racer axel = white pinion. ONLY IF YOU ARE USING A BIT RACER AXEL TAKEN FROM A BIT RACER.

The white pinion gear is (like the motor) for use “only” with BitRacers.

BitCharGs need the black-gear put on the motor.

BUT IF you use the Bitracer rearaxles (which need to be modified a litte bit to fit into BitCharGs), you again have to use the white-pinion gear.

THAT MEANS CLEARLY:

Use black-pinion-gear with BitCharG parts !!

Use white-pinion-gear with BitRacer parts !!

Excellent find! I checked the Supra and found the cap you speak of.I checkedmy first gen bits and they do not have this circuit board “cripple” cap. I will do the mod and post step by step info with pics, on the QuestFormadness.com website tomorrow. I will definitely credit this great find to you! Wow! These mods are never-ending it seems…

One word of warning to all I have been waiting on a celica OEM from TOY EAST ever since july 24th it is now Aug.18 well Aug 17th @11:29PM They told me I have to wait untill Aug 30th for them to trace it WHAT BS If they do not resolve this issue and answer my EMAILs I will BASH them at all sights I Paid right away and they claim they sent my car on 31st of July and almost 3 weeks later no car.

On a good note seller by name of JOY AND PEACE on Ebay got me a car in under 7 days from HK.

Hope you guys post my POD RACER pics it took a whole 2 min to build.

Don’t be afraid to charge your car 2-4 times in a row. Batteries don’t last forever, and always discharge your battery fully. Pick it up and hold the button down till it stops. Hope this helps.

you must have lucked out then as I went in around 5pm Friday, didn’t see them anywhere, so asked the sales person, who directed me to the games/electronics area, and they had the boxes under the counter.

they hadn’t even put it out on display yet!
