    squirrels are cool, all the americans run when they see them, but we fed em and took photos lol……who cares if they carry rabies..

    You poor poor bastard.

    Squirrels are the epitomy of evil. They embody all that is wrong with this world. Yes, they are cute and furry and rambunctious and most times rabies free, but once you get to really know them you’ll agree with me. For example, there was this little squirrel that hung around the courtyard when I was in highschool. We used to feed him and named him Mr. Peanut, heck we even smoked a blunt once with him (lil bugger loved the shotgun). One day as I was skipping to school whistling dixie and shooting at mailboxes with my .22 I noticed more than 20 men in front of my school all dressed in black and masked carrying semi automatic assualt riffles. One or two is normal but over 20, I knew something was up. Long story short, the death toll was 50 and Mr. peanut was incarcerated for 10 consecutive life sentences to be served in elmira state pen for the crimanally insane.
    You have been warned.
    Is koala a delicasy over there or is it like hotdogs here in the good ole U.S.A?

    Got the cars back the other day, thanks!!! I ended up swapping the steering motor for 2 of the cars. 1 was the one you said probably needed it and another was one that just started tweaking on me after a few runs. The propo left and right is really good for all 7 but for some of them I’m still having problems trying to get a straight line. It may be my controllers but it’s most likely my lack of no-how to tweak the cars. Do you have any suggestions on how to dial in the steering? I think I’m missing something since all I’m doing is adjusting the controller trim and turning the screw under the car. I’m sure I probably have to take it apart and align everything as I’m putting it back together.

    btw-I been here for a while uA… Just doing my best impersonation of a sponge and trying to soak it all up.

    With a lower tension current. In this case, it?s hard to charge slowly a MicroRC battery (it?s just 200mAH battery). But when you have a rechargeable AA or AAA battery with 3AH or 1.2AH … you can do it!
    As I said: depends just of the charger. 😉

    Propo or not, I’m glad to hear that you got it to track straight lines. That had to be the most iritating bad trait with the original SEs. To hear it can get decent steering in both directions is another, good to hear, since I’m tired of racing oval. :smiley2:

    Agree with microAmps… it?s better to charge it slowly… better for batts… better for boring :smiley2:

    But all depends on the charger…

    what determines when a battery get charged is the charger. There are three basic types (most common) of “sensors”:

    1. By time – the worst one just stop charging after X secs.;
    2. By temperature – when the battery get warm, it stops – it?s a sensor near the battery that determines it. It?s a bad way too, that?s because a “fast Charger” makes the battery get warm faster than a “slow Charger”… so: a slow charger will send more charge to the batt before it get warm;
    3. By tension – when a battery (doesn?t metter if a NiMH, NiCd or a Lithion) get charged the tension starts to be higher than the charger, so it inverts the pole – so the batt naturally try to send the charge to the charger. This time, charger stops charging.

    Dunno but in my 2-speed Lxx, I had little problems with 4.2, 4.2 Pro and 3.8 motors (using the default speed – non-turbo mode)…
    Using a Tomy’s Hard Ribbed tire and Perfection 4.2Pro in “turbo mode” (full speed) I had great results.
    Stocks from Lxx SP VI are really good comparing to other Tomy-clones.
    By the Way I must do more tests with 3.8 before anything…

    P.S.: HFi – eu coloquei algumas fotos “l?” da parte de baixo do meu MicroRC para voc? ver…
