Yes you can kill batt by overheating them, the most often causeis the cells/plastic inside the bat melt form over heating the terminals.

check your battery like what lancer said

I found a cheap source of part like moter spair batt, rear axia so from a new toy ( well new in australia anyway) by Hotrod(or is it matchbox) sorry can’t remember, but is a slot racer car that uses the same stuff as the bits, but don’t have any stearing cos it runs on a track… oh its a good source of spair wheels too

Which means your original post is untrue anyway. You stated

“i orderd my bentley bit today”

you let your whole country down with your attitude. I pity any other Americans on this forum.

There’s a lot of info in this thread so I haven’t read it all but I can tell you if you’re in Oz DO NOT buy a HPI car. The support here by Bolt-On is poor at best. I’ve even had them try and sell me used parts as new.

Don’t get me wrong I like HPI cars (I’ve owned 2 and still have 1 of those) but unless you’re willing to buy parts from OS like I do Tamiya is a much better choice.

I’ve been having a look at their site. They have some AWESOME custom cars. But they don’t sell them. In fact they even have a RAQ (Rarely Asked Questions) and it states….

    Q. Where can we buy the cars on BCGP?
    A. Our cars except which from TOMY are made by our members originally. Therefore there is no way to buy them.

So stop dreaming, and if you want cars this cool, make them yourself like they did.

    The original pages are here…

    http://www.diana.dti.ne.jp/~kodama/bcgp01.html

I’ve actually emailed them to ask if I can mirror some of those images in my gallery.. they are really cool and should help give ideas and inspire people.

check out this page for more BCGS, you will find them when you will see that ur bently link is clicked… lol… they start in CAPITAL letters….
