i actually swear by “soaking”. My method has accouple of things that are different. I actually throw an ice cube in with the water for keeping the magnets super cool. Also I place an old pinion on the motor so that the water is actually moving to help pull away the debris from the brushes and commutator. Finally, I pull the whole thing out and spray it down with electric motor cleaner. It helps make the water evaporate out of the motor.

depends on how fast the track is…. but I’ve found a good all around ratio is 19/27 or 20/27 if you have the pro kit from pn racing.

lol, I really can’t tell since I’m not familiar with your currency. If that coin is anything like an american quarter then that’s damn small. Great job.

cagefreak there don’t seem to be any available at the ausmicro shop atm. Aaron did mention that he only had a few left. looks like we are gonna have to wait for the ver 3.0

Aaron, if the v3 will electronically be the same as the v2.1 is there any reason why you don’t solder the motor and power wires directly to the FETs? i noticed an increase in performance as soon as i did this, and i guess there would be less chance of blowing a track.

Thanks for the heads up klims.

ver 3.0 sounds well and good, but where’s a person from the USA supposed to purchase your magnificent product. I can’t even find the spider 2.1.
