I don’t hear great things about Lxx PCB’s, as a matter of fact I wouldn’t suggest using an Lxx booster PCB.

The MicroSizer Pro is a booster w/2.2. They are real nice, range is incredible (25′-30′) out the box, no mods!

What do you think about the New BCG??? When they hit the market, I’m getting all but the Skyline, RX7, & Dome, 2 of them I already have and the Dome just doesn’t tickle my fancy! Now the Euro Muscle is the ticket….can’t wait!

Hey Z-Beam

Checked out your Micro’s, saw the “ute”! You think I got my flaming idea from that? Maybe it’s me but I don’t see the slightest resemblence between that and my bB dude! I was going for more of a 2-tone w/flame edge look. I see you hand painted the flames along with brush painting the entire car,that’s obvious. Looks a lil rough would ya say? Try spray painting next time, it’s not that difficult, don’t you trust your skilz? Flames look faded and not sharp but as you mentioned to me..”You can’t rush flames” which I believe you said you did? I do like the steering wheel,dash, seat idea, very original. I also like the way you made the bB look like it just came from off-roading…..nice touch!

Just returning the favor and bustin Ya balls a lil……

No you are not a clone owner! MicroSizers are just the US released version of the BCG. All others are clones, except (“they say”) the ZipZap??? I haven’t seen a toy store or hobby shop yet that sell BCG in the US only MicroSizers and of course clones.

But Surf, don’t say “clone” like it’s a bad thing! There are some slammin clones out there, Shens, Panthers & Precious that performance wise, straight out the box, I think are better than the originals. Now when it comes to fit, finish & style, there’s no substitute!

I got a Perfection 3.8 in my Lxx Automodellista, works okay, could be better. Not as good as in my BCG Booster Z.

jord001, in my opinion, the BCG Booster & MS Pro are much better Micro’s than the Lxx. The Lxx was the worst of the 3. And that 3.0 motor, what a joke! I have 2.2’s that blow that thing outta the water. It’s the worst motor I’ve ever owned so it got trashed in place of a Perfection 3.8. After changing out all the gears, it got a lot better & quieter but is still much, much noisier & slower than the BCG & MS. I’d go with the BCG, it is just so smooth!

Yea, that patch is where I pulled the tape and a lil paint came up with it. I hand painted it back as good as I could, then clear coated it, and if you had it in your hand, it would be Very hard to tell. But not to a digital camera, as I’ve said before, it shows “every” imperfection there is and it did with this one and the first bB I did, that’s why I’m doing that one over again.

You know, My very first car (real) was a Yellow Capri back in 79′,
I had that puppy painted 2-Toned, Silver & Black, that was the meanest paint job the shop said they had ever done! Sorry but that Silver/Black combo is All My Idea! Frome the Old School of Rodding!

And besides, the bB is Graphite & Silver not black…….:D

You re right about this one Good Fella, I have the Black Edition and the Yellow LWB Bensu. The Black one is great for running on the bed, you can make as many hills & dales as you want and it will climb them all. Very Torquey, very fast, 3.0. Best fun for off-roading (bed spread/carpet). I like the LWB too, perfect for that dual/triple Batt mod with no chassis dremeling.

No, believe it or not, the paint took quite a while, I just laid it too thick. As I said in the post, I’ll redo it from scratch then repost. I took pictures with the flash and it showed “EVERY” imperfection and there were tons of ’em, so I deleted all those shots. Then I took shots in natural sunlight which didn’t show the mistakes as much. As you can see the sceme came out as I wanted, just the paint errors. Not one of my better jobs but I will redeem myself…..watch! I just couldn’t hold out any longer….
