I did use a translator, but i couldnt understand the ‘pigeonised english’. Can u just say, darktari, what u used for the body kit and how u attatched it.

I used a material called Styrene. For the kit I used 0.60 Styrene, it comes in several thicknesses. There are a few different materials that can be used:

Butyrate: Optically clear, easily cut, dimensionally stable. Great for model window glazing.

Styrene: Multipurpose high-strength opaque plastic. Excellent for structure walls and roofs.

Vivak: Multipurpose high-strength clear plastic. Use for forming airplane canopies.

Polycarbonate: An unbreakable, high-temperature plastic. Ideal for forming engine cowls.

    http://www.micromark.com/

    search under Styrene.

You can use old credit cards (I use for tab lowering) but it’s hard to cut with precision, styrene is a LOT easier to work with. Parts are attached with any brand Super Glue (a modders bect friend) !

    let me rephrase that post:

    1) how did you make the body kit?
Here is Sinned’s Body Mod Tutorial
    http://549.rapidforum.com/topic=101684407319

    2) does the body shell fit on a bit char-g??
Not too well. the TC chassis tabs are just slightly longer. The TC chassis is good quality so you wouldn’t need another one.

    3) Good job on the intercooler
Thanx! They are standard 1″ staples

    4) did you paint over the original paint work
I primered it first as I always do, then painted, then detailed, then clear coated.

    Thanx guys for the props!

    TallduDe:
No special tools, just an X-acto knife, Micro files and sand paper. This was very easy to do, at least for me. Sinned gave us a tutorial over in Da Hood and I took to it like a duck to water.

    RacerX / M Coupe:
That is a bunch of staples but not made for the grill, it’s actually an Inter-Cooler for the twin turbo (lol). If you want a good idea for a grill, I just got one from Geisem & Sinned….

The screen is very tiny, enough to keep grease from splattering so it should work great!

The rules on this one look rediculus.

Half of the entries now don’t fit the rules

One of the S2000s has a wing from a Bit Char-G Subaru, and there’s a Tahoe looking thing with the front suspension from Tomy.

All of my stuff is from Tomy or Hobbico (US Tomy)

    M Coupe,

The rules don’t appear to be ridiculous to me, it’s plain and simple, enter a Clone Period! What’s so ridiculous about that?

There are 2 S2K’s entered that I can see and neither one of them have a Subaru wing. Both wings are custom made and the bodies are clones. And even if it did, there are clone Subaru’s out there Coupe, how can you tell it’s a Tomy wing???

The Tahoe has a stretched Thunder Charger chassis. How can you tell if it’s a Tomy front end which it is not?

You have to realize that just about every Tomy model has an almost exact clone, not all, but most! If I took a wing from a Tomy and one from a clone, primered it and posted a pic, I would defy you to tell me the difference!

Any entries that are found to have any identifyable Tomy, MS or ZZ parts will be eliminated period. You can’t stop them from entering.

You can be proud that you own only original Tomy/MS cars and I’ve seen others that are proud of that fact and express it. Everyone can’t say that and are not as concerned with that fact like yourself. They want fun in whatever form of 1/64 they can get. This particular contest is just not for you this time but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be others that you will qualify for.

They always say 12-14 days, I that’s standard. I always get mine in 5 business days without fail to Maryland, US.

    Oh baby, they look great.

Man They ARE Really nice, The detailing is like nothing Tomy has done before to the Bits. Haven’t really played with them yet but I did run the Porsche for a lil while. It’s real smooth, turns good, and basically like an ordinary BGC. Haven’t tested the range yet but this puppy will be getting a Perfection 4.2 King and alloys real soon (had them already).

I like all the Perfection motors, They’re very torquey, fast & smuth. I also like all the ExtremeMicro motors. Very good torque & crazy speed!

I got the S2000 on my lunch break at work… It’s going to take a lot of work for me to get it the way I want, so I’m not going to make it in this contest, but at least now I have almost every Tomy Bit available.

Don’t sell yourself short Pimp, the summer is just beginning and there’s gonna be a lot of Happenings going on in Da Hood! Cruise thru.

Hey M-Coupe (1 of my favorite bimmers)

Your ride doesn’t have to be Pimped to enter, did you see my Skyline GTR? That was my first paint job and wherever I posted it, it got the highest compliments. I can appreciate a tastefully done decal’d racer any day. If you got it, post it!
This contest is not a “Pimp’d Out” contest this time, we chose 3 catagories, S2K, Gloria, & Skylines (all models)and Mods are also judged. So cruise on over to Da Hood and enter. The Extreme Motor Pack prizes are worth the admittance. These motors SCREAM torque & speed.

Just wanted to say hello, and welcome myself to the forum 🙂

Went to Kmart yesterday and couldn’t resist getting a BCG (S2000).
I’ve been meaning to get one for ages. They are fun fun fun.

Now I guess I’ll have to get hooked and order one of those ‘go faster’ models from somewhere.

Are there any decent mini RC Peugeots (or Renaults, or errkk… even Citroens)?

Welcome to the best habit you can have!
Check here to get an idea of how big this hobby is…

    http://www.toyeast.com/catlist2.asp?catid=872

And the Peugeot you’re looking for is a 206…..

    http://www.toyeast.com/subcatlist2.asp?catid=468

I’ve got one, love the body, hated the chassis (Bensu). I installed an REM, springs and tyres, now it steers great ! It’s definately worth the price of admission. Now that you’ve been to the Biggest Micro RC webpage in the world, you are officially Hooked
