I hear that they’re good rotors but truth being told, the Perfection rotors have been proven time & time again and you can’t beat the price! Extreme Rotors were great also! Too bad they are no more!
Quote:Best from TDT I’ve seen. A real thrilla!Thanx Pimp !
I don’t think so myself. Didn’t put a whole lot of effort in this, just the details came out close to perfect which all starts out with a perfect body. I got a chance to try a couple of new tricks to test and now I can incorporate them into my future mods.
But I guess beauty is in the eye……….:smiley2:Edited by – DarkTari on 06 February 2004 07:44:31
Quote:The pantera is a classic. You can’t really knock it because it leaves a lamborgini in it’s exaust. That’s not lie. They really are one of the best cars ever. Do a search on the net. You might find some interesting info. They were made from, I think, 1971~76. De Tomaso was the dudes name that designed it. The look is a little out dated, but the prestige is irreplaceable. This is one of those cars that the general public doesn’t know a whole lot about, but any car collector would likely sell his nuts off to own.I agree that they should come out with more cars. I would like to see some more of everything. From vipers to full-size vans.
Perfection does makes a 360 though. In many colors I might add. I’ve got one. It’s not all that impressive, though other people might like it. The quality of it is better than the other perfection shells I own.

You are absolutely correct! The Pantera was Americas answer to the Ferrari,Lambo,Maserati, race era back in the 70’s. With it’s 351 Cleveland V8, it dominated. Last production was the GTS model which was Countach like with it’s array of spoilers & scoops.
I Can’t see the pics from the original post right know to give an opinion. Perf does have the 360 Modena which from the pics I thought it was the ultimate, but after receiving it I was totally disappointed. Too short & tall for a Ferrari. I did modify one to suit my taste….
360 ModenaI say it sounds like a pretty good comp. Rules would definately have to be set. Impartial Judges would have to be chosen. And definitive pictures admitted, maybe even video! And a commitee !
Since this is gonna be a sort of Americas Cup deal, we need more teams than just Aus & bitPimps! We have quite a few Micro RC forums here TRC, WeGotU, MRC?,RCMod,URC, just to name a few. Plus the German Forums: BitRacer.de, and lets not forget Denmark: RaceTin.dk, UK: Bit-Char-gUk, UK Bit-Char-G, etc and let’s not forget the Asian forums where this hobby all started.
Am I taking this a bit far ?????
They sold out quick, last I looked they had very few so I can believe them not having any more. I just got in (last week) the Super Perfections, Ferrari & Lambo sets I ordered but haven’t had time to play.
As of right now they only have the CDMA Super Perf left. Next time you see ’em, better get ’em ! It’s Xmas time !

Quote:I think it will need a larger wing. lol, to keep it on the ground.
One piece of advice, you might find that standard rims and the coloured tyre set (GS-07) actually handle better, for the rear tyres. The alu rims can be heavy and the tyres are not as good gripping as the pink Tomy tires.
I will be very interested to see how this all turns out.
:)uAThe weight of Alloy wheels are not going to make that big a difference with all that power. Some alloy tyres are made of silicon rubber and are VERY grippy, and the fact that they are much wider (according to the mm of the wheels) he will get much better control. Though with all that power, he’ll only be able to go straight anyways !!!

Quote:I personally wonder what the TOMY 3.0 motor is good for? There?s no torque at all, you really need the gear set to be able to use it at all.
I?d rather use the Perfection motors, they?re working the way I want them to./Trackmaster
I second that emotion ! Never had a Tomy 3.0 but the 1.6, 2.2, & 2.6 Tomy motors in my opinion suck! The 2.2 & 2.6 HotWheels KITT motors will blow them away every time. These are very inexpensive motors (less than $1.00 US)that have great torque & speed. I know these are suppose to be made by Tomy but they run better than Perfections.
Quote:I like the glints that have been photoshopped into the images on DarkTaris work. Nice touch to the image..Dave,
Thanx for the cudos but these shot are not photoshopped, the bling you see is the bling that was. All my pics were taken outdoors at around 11:00am so the sun is just behind High Noon which puts it in the right place along with turning the car. Gotta go for as much BLING as I can Pimp!Edited by – DarkTari on 13 November 2003 03:05:48
Quote:Damn it, I just ordered an LXX from them 2 days ago.
The controlers have a cool telescopic antenna, and a good selection of frequencies, just like the super bits but half the price – I like it:DEdited by – Super Max Power on 08 November 2003 10:05:10
I can’t count how many times I’ve said that !!!
Yeah that’s 1 of the issues when ordering from them, they are always
coming out with new cool stuff!Quote:…FYI…’PERFECTION’ parts have NOTHING whatsoever to do with Japan…They are an in-house brand from TOYEAST……BitHed has spoken…
A Couple Questions,
They are TE Inhouse but where are the Perfection parts made?
Where is ToyEast located?Just curious……
Cavey,
That car is off Da Hook! 68 Mazda? never heard of it, looks extremely like an Alfa Romeo Spyder.
Is it a die cast?Great Job! You definately have a style of your own Pimp.
Now for #9 and my final entry.
Quote:DarkTari:
It seems that the painting style on your R34 and EVOne is very similar.THey look awesome.
one question: how did u make the lights on the Evone look so real?
The headlights are stock, didn’t do anything to them. The rest of the lights are just my normal detailing, nothing special…
