huh?? I know I don’t need to say this, but bring your OL tonight
if the weather report is anything to go by (no comment) then we look to be having at least a dry Sunday, with the possibility of sunshine.
Otherwise, we’ll just OL it up as usual…
coolies… will see you soon…
well i’ll be picking up a case ofNew tonight… we could have a chat and a beer. You allowed out to play tonight?
that is a bugger. Hope things work out for you…
Welcome to the forums O.M.!! The 02 in Iwaver and Kyosho is a wide body setup only… and the GT40 is a narrow body. As for quality, as Mini G sez, it can be a hit and miss thing. Afew of my mates have/have had Iwavers, and I noticed things tend to go wrong more frequently. Not bad, not great either. If a Mini Z isthe Mercedes of 1/28 scale, sorry buti’d have to say the Iwaver is the Daewoo.
nah mate… its sitting there with my other games which have’nt ben touched for weeks… now why would that be?
hmmm… too much like a slot car track for my liking… the OL track is way cool however
Iwaver shocks may be different… but yes; i used 4.8 to attach the Monster shocks.
yeah, as i said, brain fade dudes… as for the lego, wrong size, they are. Gonna go with Pete some time soon and grab ne of these Technics sets.. you want i should grab you one too? If so will post em down with the ps2 game you lent me..
60 x 60 is what i was thinking and hoping… we need to get together to figure this out
oh yeah… minor brain fade. Sorry.
unfortunantly the Monster and OL damper stays are not interchangeable… the OL body clips onto the chassis, while the Monster body clips into special holes on the Monster damper stays. They might be too high to fit under an OL shell
i dont want credit, I WANT TO BUILD IT!!!!!! lol Lets do this!!I told Aaron where I got this, the credit is all yours Pete…
mate under 200aud… easily. You got an email address i could forward something to? As for track edging, it”s too easy. When you get this email it”ll be clear as day… and cheap as s**t. Aaron, big Dave… you have email.

I would think most OL”s won”t be bashed as hard as the monsters are with their big wheels which is why the Monsters tend to _need_ alloy.
A.
hahahahaha!!! You have’nt seen the paces Pete and I put ours through!!! I think the falls ours have taken is greater than anything I put the Monster through! Pete’s already broken a damper stay, and as you know I did my middle gear (fyi, the titanium one is heaps quieter and smoother.)… and both of us could do with internal aerials…
any word on OL alloy from Iwaver as yet? I think Pete might well be on the market for a front shock stay…
wanna check out Parra Clarks this weekend then big D?
that’s abit of $$$… but if everyone was to act at the same time, postage would have to be reduced…
I have’ne gone in to check that on the OL yet, but after modding the Monster all that time ago I do know you need 2 x 5.8mm joints and 12 x 4.8mm joints to do the whole Monster… i’d say the OL will be the same. BUT… I did get my Monster ages ago, at a time where Monster oil shocks were not yet available, so put OL oil shocks on it. From that experience I know you need 4.8s for the shock area. Sorry about the long winded reply. Hope this helps dude…
either way, I hope the price of postage has come down… the last time I looked into this possibility I discovered the postage and handling was almost as much for the track itself!!! (that’s off the ‘bay mind you…)
oh… ok. Awaiting your call…
sweet… i’ll have to try again today… got some newbies I wanna chuck up…
lookin good dude… where’s the stock rims though? They’d look much more at home amongst the camo…
119usd on the ‘bay… not sure about postage though…
