Oddly enough, two of the cars are less than 2 weeks old, and would be lucky to have topped the 100 charge mark. The Nicads have had nothing done to them (in reply to Impreza) but maybe they are abit weary.

Very pricey, yes… maybe worth the extra dollars for a 35 or 57MHz(or both), but an extra 80?? I would like to grab at least one BCG
though, cost aside. Though if $130 is average, I dont like to think how much the Castrol Supra would be!! (Actually have aspirations of owning the NuR Skyline, I should wake up & stop dreaming, eh??)

Actually found shells in Gladesville, but motors, etc. are going to have to be purchased online, me thinks.
Also found undercoat to be a pretty good racing surface… tops grip on corners at speed!!!
Gonna check out that Trading Direct link, cheers for that. What sort of time for delivery are we talking here??( being that they’re an Aussie company.)

is there any reason all 3 of my cars would be
seeming to lose rpms?? first off, quick as…
lately tho, they tend to be a fair bit slower.
tried greasing the axle, rotating the motor( that
“3 o’clock” position works, but only for a little while, it seems),new AA’s in the charger, etc.
    Any ideas????

does double charging have any long term neg. effects on either the batt. or charger?? Sounds like a good idea… Will try that after work
tonight. Better get myself a couple of cheap copies to mess with

gotta agree, these batteries do seem to have a mind of their own,
picked up 3 cars last week(1 for a mate), his car ripped from day one,
mine were’nt quite so quick. Now, barely two weeks later; his motor died, one of my cars has slowed about 25%, the other doesnt hold its
charge for much longer than a minute. Servicing is done as needed (or maybe a little more often), but the motors slowlw seem to deteriorate.
AND NO IT ISNT MY AA’s!!!!!!!:smiley2:

CHEERS… ITS DGS BY THE WAY, NO DAGS BACK HERE!!
TRACK IS DONE, 2400×1200 MDF, ACRYLIC EDGING SLOTTED INTO ENGRAVED GROOVES, MAKING THE TRACK ABOUT 250MM WIDE. WAS THINKING BLACKBOARD PAINT,
PLUS NO COST TO ME, BEING IN SIGNAGE INDUSTRY.
THINK I PREFER PAINT TO SANDPAPER THOUGH.
