give it a week or too… Jamie’s takin’ over these here parts… and i’m with betty here; whoop de doo… the only reason I put up my “cracked 1000” topic was to thank the people who’ve helped me procure, fix, break, and collect these r/c’s. Tis all. I dont care how many posts i’ve got accumulating, as long as people are getting useful info from them. Or at least a laugh…:D

before you stick the magnet back in place ensure that the steering is centred too… sometimes that magnet does not want to be right in the centre of that holder. You could wind up with 60% lock turning one way, and full lock the other way. Annoying… but avoidable. Hope this helps too:smiley2:

I know what you mean mate…:smiley2: icebreaka; not sure about the carpet at Clarks, what width is the stuff? ie. $20 per meter x ?? 600mm? 1000mm? There used to be a Clarks near my place, but that was many moons ago… it burned to the ground (in about 15 minutes flat, i’d guess) when I was about 12. Seems the nearest one now is a half-day trip away for me…blackeye::angry:

many monns ago… but yes, very painful. Cold weather turns it into a barometer of sorts… yes, jumps and all that. No sliding but. Actually did my knee in on ice, not blades. Prince Alfred? Many years ago that used to be an ice rink, and a crap one at that. Used to be Sydney’s (Aust.’s?) only outdoor ice rink.

yeah, I had roller skates too, but only for training purposes when I was off-ice… rollerblades (inline skates actually – Rollerblade is/was(?) a brand) I had several pairs over the years before shattering my right knee, but would not mind using them for travelling purposes, not the stuff I used to do. TD; full recon after checking the place out…
