oh, forgot to list the soft & hard foam inserts. Most of the Monster parts are pretty cheap, you’ll find… have you found that if your throttle trim is’nt set right, then the brakes dont work right? Hard to explain this one, but if its happned to you then you’ll know what I mean…

been a while, M… i guess so, but some serious modding inside the shell, as the Overland has a different fixing method to the Racers… also has no mounting hole at the front liks racers do, but a bit of customising and you should be able to come up with something… might need some bogging too, I think the OL chassis’ are wider than some racers. Hope this helps…

sorry dude, been busy as this morning… the Monster mods list as follows; bearings w/ silver lock nuts, front & rear oil shocks, s/s kingpins, s/s suspension shafts, 5.8mm milled s/s ball joints (for under the chassis; heaps stonger than the stock joints), 6 x 4.8mm s/s milled ball joints (have’nt bothered putting em in yet…), Powertech 800mAh NIMH batts., and I think that’s it as yet. The bearings take ages to put in, as you will discover… worth the time spent though, must say. Next up are the front/rear damper stays in silver aluminium (can not wait.),spring set, and maybe some alloys…

there are some damper stays starting to appear, but only rear stays (who breaks the rear ones anyway? I ask you…!!) I managed to break mine after two weeks, the first week it didnt even get run!
Very busy is Bithed at the mo, but your email will get a reply… and I get stuff sent to me within a week of paying…

now you’ll be cooking… got the s/s kingpins and susp. shafts and all ball joints in s/s on mine, makes such a performance difference… as does 800NiMH batteries… grab some foam tire inserts off Bithed too, I’ve found the softs and hards both have their advantages. The soft take alot of the work (but not all!!) off the shocks when landing jumps, as well as helping turning response, and the hard foams aid striaght line travel at speed. And yeah EVO, those alum. rims are awesome, eh?
Oh, ph2t, you broken your front damper stay yet? Give it time, and the GPM aluminium ones will be out… happy happy joy joy…:D

Kevsta; with RCRM, it can be good or bad, from my experience… the diff’s pretty good (a bit noisy), as are the bearings, but the roll shock has nothing on the Kyosho brand one. Friction shock , springs, kingpins are all ok. Since you can buy pretty much everything you need in one cheap(ish) go, overall it’s an ok deal.
