Sounds good Dave, a watermark across the posted pic would work to but may not look as good as decals? I think prep the cars for a decal or two, say the doors and hood (have to give some sort of specs so ppl know what car body they can enter, ie the size of the decals. Paint the body up in the spec colors and send in a pic to the site via PM or email. Winners get the decals and once they get them, proudly re-submit pics with the decals to go onto the home page with name etc.. The reason for limiting the colour schem is two fold; keep the winning cars the same colours as the decals and give all members a time frame in which to produce or modify an existing paint job (ie everyone starts from or close to scratch:)
Plus you got to think it would look very cool to see what the creative minds on this site could do with 3 colours of paints and a car body. Not to mention that posting pics of the winners circle would look sweet when all the cars are painted in the same colours.
This one is doable, we just need the ok from above. I will offer to help write up the guidelines etc.. Although I would like to submit a car, I would wave that if you needed someone to write up the rules and select the colours etc.. Dave are the decals a reality?? What size, and where would they go??
