taking off the heatsink on a bullet is like taking one off on the real char-g’s
just push the bottom of the metal tab near the back clip and push in and up.
yes.. faster motor means more power being used.. but the time difference isn’t that great.. you’ll probably only lose like a min or 2
i have a bensu and a real bit char-g.. and it seems like the bensu is a bit bigger than regular chars
so i don’t think you can use a regular body on a bensu.. but i could be wrong
did you check for a cripple cap?? if not there is a topic on it in the technical forum.. you can also use to “POT” mod… or you can try and put a hard telescopic antenna on your remote and change the antenna on your car
a booster machine set is a bit that has 2 speeds to it, but you need the 4band frequency remote to control the car. if you set the remote on boost mode the car has a pulsating function that makes the car go slower, but when you push the boost button it makes the car look like it has turbo and it goes top speed.. i have a booster car and it’s great.
you can find the boosters on ebay, or other online retailers
no your right.. the switches are reversed on the OEM cars.. and the OEM’s come with a hard antenna so the range will be better with the original controller
well my antenna for my car is no longer than 5inches.. but it’s a little heavier than the regular antenna, so it’s made my car a little prone to flipping..
both batteries get hot actually.. my car’s battery got pretty hot actually.. does this mean i ruined my battery??
it won’t go in a straight line at all?? did you check your little white tab under your car?? sometimes that helps..
also open up your steering well and see if the magnet is centred or not.
i just used a regular telescopic antenna for the remote that i found at my local electronics store.
The wire i used for my car is just regular i think CAT1 wire that you find in the telephone cord that you run along the walls of your house. it’s good cause it has a solid copper core, but it’s a little bit heavier than the standard antenna that you get with your car.
the antenna i used was just your typical telescopic antenna that you find on am/fm radio’s… i’m sure that you’ll be able to find one at your local electronics store.
what kind of specs do you need?? it’s about 1 1/2 ft long it’s about 5mm in width.
all i did was go to my local electronics shop and bought a telescopic antenna, the ones you see on radios.
well i’m estimating it’s about 50ft, cause i was on the third floor of my house and i told my brother to keep going down the house until the car stopped moving, but he was all the way into the basement and it was still going strong.
oh haha.. that might be it then cause i have a oem bensu, and a booster machine set
no one has been able to find one yet.
so i don’t think there is one.
my booster range use to suck too, but i changed the antenna on my remote and i changed the antenna on my car as well. i replaced the car antenna with telephone wire that you run along the wall, cause it has a solid copper core and my antenna on my remote is like 1 1/2ft now. after all the modifiying, i get like 50ft of range now.
yeah that seems right, but you do know that in A mode that the controls for forward and reverse are switched.
so if you press forward your going backwards.
i’ll just post up the links.

maybe you have a bum motor?? cause i read that there are a lot of bad 3.0 motors out there. i personally don’t have any problems with mine yet.
but is your car clear of dirt?? maybe that’s it.
did you try re-seating the motor?? sometimes the contact doesn’t sit properly.
try that…
