The thing is, something has to be sacraficial, a servo saver is the best option, and they have saved my buns many times in the past, but there aint one for the MR01.

If you make everything alloy, something still has to give…..

Drifting Bit Char-G’s is very difficult, they seem to either spin out or stick to their path, you can do it, but not very effectively.

I have had great results with a ZZ SE, as it has propo steering and throttle.

I made a desktop drift track and sprayed it with window cleaner, installed a 2.2 in the ZZ SE and put the “knobby” tyres on and it was hanging out very well. It still took me a good while to learn how to control the drift.

If you want a really good drifter, go for a radio shack XMODS car (1/28 scale, has 4wd upgrade). These cost 50 US.

Or go for one of the Yokomo drift cars, but they are pricey, If you have a 4WD 1/10 Touring Car, you can put drift tyres on, or put poly pipe or “poo pipe” rings on the tyres.

I drove PandaBears TB02 Touring car with poo pipe rings around templestowe racetrack and i have not experienced fun like this at all!!

I would sell my kidney for the skyline, the pic in my avatar is of what was meant to be my MR30, but some fudgeface offered my bro more money…..would have been a sweet first car,

-Gloss black, with harlequin pearl flake and gloss clearcote (looks insane).

-17″ Trilogy chromes which were sold (hmmmm) and the symmons racing wheels were put back on,

-280 ZX L28 inline 6 cylinder 2.8 litre injected, with L24 head (high compression)

-3″ FULL exhaust and 4″ muffler.

-Trust pod filter and custom inlet piping.

    -dumped on it’s guts.

-HR30 rear tail lights (look awesome)

-has approx 200hp and has been dynoed, but is torque tuned, and pulls in any gear.

The zorst note of this thing is unreal, i have never ever heard any other car with such a “fuck off” exhaust note, no R32, R33, even R34’s ive seen sound as clean as this baby..

Still no match for ur XR6T though A..
