Do I loose any performance without the shaft though? If I don’t loose any performace, I am probably going to keep it as rear wheel drive until I want four wheel drive again.

Dude trust us, with R/C cars 4WD drifts 10,000 x better than RWD.

You could also buy a set of yokomo drift wheels and some spare rings, apparently they give better drifts than PVC, but PVC is very cheap and lasts longer.

i remember another series on sbs years back that consisted of people re creating ancient feats of engineering with only the tools of the time, eg: making one of the stonehenge structures and they made a full size trebuchet too. fricken ingenious machine!!:p they sure can fling a rock hard!:dead::8ball:

I remember that program quite well, they made a bridge atleast 100′ long over a river from grass!!

I doubt any of those tyres would be very good on polished floors, they pick up dust and lose their traction.

Why would you want so much weight on a racer??

I guess the closest thing you can get is an alloy motor mount and Front bulkhead…

It’s in the manual champ, place the pinion in the hole and push the motor shaft into it, it sets the correct depth.

Dude maybe you need help, I install and test FET mods for a reasonable price, have a think about it…

It is possible that you may have damaged the FETs in the install/run process.

-For soldering FET stacks, a fine tip is what you want.

-Dry joints are joints or soldered connections that actually are not connected, you generally can’t see a dry joint.

There is 3 ways I use to check the orientation of the FETs,

-The Indentation on the left hand side
    -The orientation of the text
    -The Beveled edge

I thought that there was no foreward FET, both FETS can reverse polarity, therfore giving you foreward and reverse.

It sounds like one of the signal pins (pins 2 & 4 on the FETs) are either not connected or have dry joints, either that or you damaged them somehow, static or too much heat.
