Yup usually all 1/10 radio gear is interchangeable…..but can be a pain to do, and you will end up buying another radio gear set…

Dont bother with stepped resistive speed controllers, get an esc.

How in gods name do you bend a dogbone???

The only damage i have managed to do to my car is bend the aluminium chassis….which takes 5 seconds to fix :clown: but I think a brace is needed from front to rear…

With the front stabilizer, file/drill out the kingpin holes so it sits flat on the front knuckles. I did this to my topcad stabilizer and it’s great. Cut small 4-5mm pieces of bit char-g tyres, and put them under the front pivot on the stabilizer to remove the play.

I have never owned a rear roll damper, and they really can’t be called dampers, because they are just a spring (unless you get the oil shocks), I don’t have any space due to the 2 extra cells anyway!

If it came from the car, its a small RF choke.

If it came from the TX, it could be anything.

Uh, just stick in a 6×2 stack and theres no need to upgrade in the future.

You still get good throttle response, i dunno what ppl crap on about when they say they lose the throttle response. i.e. i can drive my mini Z with 9×2 fets as slow or as fast as i want with no problems.

And coincendentally, i have a mini Z fet modding service, pm for details.

dont totally underestimate plastic gears, my 1/10 nitro bugy has ’em and they can deal with more power than the motor can put out…plastic gears get ruined quick by debris though.

belt drives….unless it’s sealed forget offroad use….
