well you lost me about the reciever and the plastic:p
as long as you dont go through the water its fine….it helps to rubber stuff(like a ballon) over the esc and reciever…..but cation…the esc might get warmer than normal…..
ive ran a TA03 with rally block tyres along the firm the sand, and is a blast to drive….clean after a day at the beach though..have to strip everthing if you want to get all the sand out…lol…….
    cheers

as far as i know, the lower the turn the more you got to look after it…eg a 6 turn motor would only be good for a really large area, and ive heard they only last a few races,(due to heat and what not)…i guess if you looked after it changed the brushes every 3 runs or so and keep it clean and oiled it will be fine….and a 6 turn motor is NOT used for stoping and starting or tight tracks….you will damage the motor….
id go a 10 turn reedy kr motor…they are supposed to be the best! but pricey..saw one on eb@y for $90…
    sorry for the long post
    cheers

    yeah i agree,
it dont need any more power…considering it comes standard with a 380 stock….no wonder you have a bit handeling it…14×2 and bald tyres,
anybody kno’s thats a bad combo….get some new tyres and it will be fine…i kno..i used run bald tyres on my car and it was hard to handel…then i got new one’s and ive lost count of how many times ive traction rolled it…
    dan
