Quote:Oh, I dig the background:D could you do one that looks like a street in downtown? with a 7-11 in the background or somfin, maybe the store’s sign is the ausmicro logo or something like that. LOL Would be cool for non-race car mods…:smiley2: but thats just a suggestion:smiley2:
hope this helps!:)
That’s a great sugesstion, I like it!
Cabo, that is one insane R-34, I just love that green! So shiny! And those rims are just killa, can’t wait to get my sets from EZ.
I gotta say that I just love the pullback skyline models, they’re just so spanky!

Sounds like this pcb will be ripped out and be chucked into a tomy chassis in no time…..

yeah c’mon merc,:p feed the hungry masses….
ph2t.
yeah, but that’s for the car, Hich wants one for the TX. Say Hich, just go to a Dick Smith or Jaycar store and buy a small switch from there for like 50c. Just put it on the red wire coming from the batteries that goes to the circuit board.

Ok then, here’s some more entries from myself:
Nissan Gloria
This is sorta a “mod in progress”. The chassis is stock with a l.0. It’s a crusin’ car so I quite like the speed being slow enough to be able to actually look at the car!. The shell has had 2 coats of “Holden Gunmetal” auto touch-up paint, followed by several coats of clear. All the lights/windows were masked, I’m gonna put some electrics in it soon so I wanted them clear. The grill is nice so I though hey! Might as well leave it in there.
This is what I’d consider my first proper paint job…

Pugeot 305(?)
I *think* that’s the name of the shell. It’s from a Bensu clone. The widows were black to start with, so I continued that. The masking on the headlights, rearlights and other places wasn’t the best, sorta learning with this car,:dead:. The chassis is TOMY, the wheels are pullbacks and the antenna is internal…..

put a piece of thick paper or cardboard between one of the batteries and the terminal it touches…
brutal, but effective…

Dude, you’ve got like a day. The pimps comp finishes on Sept 5th.

Bilbo, the comp is for micro scale cars, so I believe ZZ’s should be OK. For all other info check HERE.
UPDATE: Just read the bottom of Aaron’s post at the top of this thread, so it might only be for TOMY Bcg or Clone Bcg, dunno. Aaron could you please confirm?

Yeah sure Z, there’s never been another comp previously @ ausmicro, so there’s no precedent there to worry about…..
Aaron, please correct me if I’m wrong otherwise :).

Quote:Quote:I had to get a finsh that matches the grunt of this car, being doublemosfetstacked(tm) and all…………..😀
ph2t.
?????.
The mosfets are stacked on top of each other, in this mod I use 8 fets in total instead of the usual 4. The more fets stacked the lower the resistance and therefore the more ooompf in the motor.:p This mod is popular on mini-z’s.

ph2t.
You know, when micro and I were putting the first prize together we were hesitant in letting it go
, we wanted to keep it for ourselves….ph2t.
This is gonna be a great contest! Can’t wait to see all the mad entries that our members will create!
:p:p:p:p

:approve:Jamie. Go through the tech forum. Search for two threads, yo might have to go back 3 or 4 pages.
“The crip cap in tha car mod”
“more frequencies for cars”
Both of these threads have been done by myself and both have the info you need. Sorry, too lazy to find myself and link them here.
