I have ordered a zip zaps with some initial D upgrades

Also have my eye on a zip zaps monster truck :approve: saw some great videos of these on there net set up as crawlers. They were getting over everything. Somehow I can see my work production, where I am now, slowing up a little 😀

My apartment has a radical polished concrete car park. The tape worked really well on it

when you put it on put it around at least once and a half and make sure where the last bit tapes down is facing backwards (stop it being ripped off) also try cover as much of the tyre as possible to stop grabbing

All i have been doing with my MA010 is drifting

I have done no motor upgrade. only put a couple of alloy covers (looks pretty) and some bearings in it. Im looking to upgrade to a PN speedy AWD motor.

My mate has a 2×3 stack and a macho motor and its just to quick for drifting. I struggle with it. Then again it could just be his set up or something or my incompetence 😮

If anyone can inform this brother how to put a vid up ill put some of my living room drift action 😀

I forget who it was that told me to run some electrical tape around my tyres. this worked real well and didnt seem to scratch floor boards when i used it on them

Id get a feel for drifting a stock car before modding. My R34 shell is rather rooted from learning. Once you get the hang of it then upgrade.

Can anyone also tell me what the effect would be if i was to put a 2×2 or 2×3 stack in with only a stock motor?

well isnt there just some top vibes flaoting around

life can get you down aaron but it sure beats being dead. Just remeber, Never argue with idiots cause they will only bring you down to there level, and beat you with experience

I have only discovered a love for RC cars in the last 6 months. This in turn put me onto this site. A site of no assumptions or jerks, no writing off or heckling. Just a site of good info and very technically minded people. For someone like me, who has next to no bloody idea, to ask mundane and simple questions and still have them answered in depth just astounds me.

Aaron – Is the BA in your avatar yours? if so how would you feel about a set of EBC greenstuff pads for the front of the old girl? They would be my birthday gift to ausmicro and a gift to you for persevering through shit times, and to re-assure you that mates are out there even if you have never seen and or spoke with them.

    Happy B’day Ausmicro

    hip, hip

Is this beautiful looking piece of work and a nice quick motor going to get my AWD pumping or is it more set up for the f1’s

im not to tuned in with all this electronic talk, i do however want my car quick

Is there an easier motor upgrade not requiring any form of turbo?

    Cheers

is it just venues that are holding some races back?

would people (preferably owning track supplies) travel so Newcastle for an evening of racing?

    rcs2die4

at the risk of the tail between my legs heading somewhere else i will admit the following

    I pulled it apart….again.

I found a lil rock in the gears :smiley13:
I didnt clean my pot first time (due to no pcb) but have since obtained some and done it this time

I know it was all due to that one little rock.

Once again thankyou for your radical thread. without it I would have had no chance in the world.

    3 cheers for rcs2die4….hiphip

Before doing it the most complex thing I had done was put together a kinder suprise and brush my teeh left handed

    cheers for the input

I purchased myself some NI-MH batts today. While I was there I obtained a book which I have found an abundance of FETS. Now I dont even know what a FET does but from the talk I am hearing its what I want :smiley14:

Another lil snag I have hit is my throttle sometimes gets stuck mid turn. has this happened to anyone before?

I know I might sound like a nagging prick but you gotta ask questions in order to learn.
