yea, that is the plan. unpainted clear plastic bodys. however if you really want a white, blue or yellow plascic one i could make one of those too. the clear bodys are just like the larger 1/10 scale bodys. only bit size.

another good place to get the telescoping antenna is at radio shack… if your in the states that is.

well i got some clear bodys! whos interested? email me for the specifics. bodys in clear right now. ferari 250gto, micro cooper, Lemans 320i turbo.. more in a few days.

oldtamiyaphile: That RSi is Awesome do you brush paint or spray paint?

i also just got some waterslide decals. i will test them out. i just really wanna put the numbers on my 250 gto. and add some detail to my cooper. the cooper is really starting to look awesome with some paint on it as you can see below. i just need to get more than 3 colors of paint. it kinda limits my painting options…

probably the shen! its pretty dang fast. i am even more partial to the prescous clone because of its compatibility to bits. but shen is second on my list! (the motor on the shen is like a zip-zap motor. slightly larger..

i will check that out. however i do have to use a certain kinda paint for these bodys so that the paint will not chip off when the body flexes… acrylics are to hard and will break. i find it easy to do detail with a toothpick. my onlyproblem is that i drink to much coffee. lol!! thanks for the advice. i will definately check that out!!

painted or unpainted? i am not the greatest painter so if you have skills you might want to do it yourself. but yea 10 bucks and i will ship it to you. i have a bunch of them. the nascar body is not quite to this stage yet. i need a bit more time on it. when i get it done im gonna do tony stewarts car first. and then im gonna try to do about 20 different nascar bodys. ok, here are some more custom bodys.
Shypo: i tried the labels and they work ok, provided you make sure there are no air bubbles under them and you have to put down a few coats of clear. the beetle body has these on it. i tried the liquid mask and so far its not working. when i cut it it lifts up on both sides of the knife so that paint can seep under it. so i started being careful and just painting by hand. i will post pics of the painted ferrari later. here it is with the painted windows, you can see how the paint made it through the mask. theres also a mini cooper there too. it has some of the liquid mask on it right now.

paint smells good!!!

well the grillwork can be accomplished through painting. i would like to put more detail on the front/grill but both cars pretty much have a flat front in real life. anyway like i said about the windows my tape sucked as much as my paint job. the windows on the suv look funky because the body was painted from the outside, and i had terrible tape. the truck just because my tape didnt stick correctly. but i agree with you on both of these spots. i want to find some good chrome paint so i can do some better detail with the bumpers and grill/headlight trim in chrome.

anyway all criticism is welcome.

i also have a new idea for taping the windows but am not sure if it will work. i will try it though.. basically i will do the design of the windows on my computer and then print out the design on removable label paper, that way i can cut along the lines. the other option was to get that liquid masking tape that they have at the HS and brush on the areas that you want to mask, then peel it off when your done painting. has anyone tried any of these.:approve:

i have heard of many headlight mods with these. they are very small… but you need to be good with a soldering iron because they are so small.
