i dont think that the 3.0’s ever hit the market for the K.I.T. racers… nobody was buying them, and thats why everyone is unloading them.

well i made this body and its looking pretty well dropped right now.. there are some pics of these bodys in the making on the custom bodys post. the only problem is that i suck at painting.. one was painted on the outside of the car and the other was painted on the inside. can you tell which is which?

if you spray them with some clear after you put on the decals… the decals will not come off so easy. and you body will be a bit more protected from scratches.

yea im not really into the escalade. i think they are just a rich mans attempt at being rugged. if youve ever been offroad with one you would know why. however i will agree that they are mighty comfortable. but for the cost of one i would rather have an H2, its cheaper and in my opinion looks betterm.

unfortnately after cutting this body down from the suburban body to what its at now im not really sure what kinda car you could work it into. although im thinking im gonna modify it into a BMW z roadster.

i could keep the suv styling and flaten out the top annd sides a bit more, maybe make the windshiled a bit steeper in angle. and shoot for making a S-10 blazer… or better yet a GMC Typhoon..

i have a few bits and a couple Prescious clones. the precious are excellent running cars. ive been using them for over a month and have still not had any problems. and the precious have a better range, partially because of a thicker gauge antenna. i have heard that the shen-qe colnes are also pretty dang good.

ok, heres the first one that i got back. im in the process of painting it right now. it turned out that i made the body about 3mm to long so i had to put an extention on the front tab. otherwise its cool. im shortening the body for future molds. anyway this was done in blue plastic. the clear has just arrived. thank god!! anyway im painting this body with plut pearl metallic paint which i got at my local hobby store. for 5.00usd. its faskolor by parma paint. i will post another pic when its done…. :D:smiley2::clown:

yea, that will get you 20 pages of the stuff. 10 clear and 10 white. or 20 clear or 20 white. which ever way ya wanna go. im gonna get some but im putting it off. im figuring if i do it right i can create decals for about 10 cars per page, if the car is completely covered. if the car only uses a couple. then a lot more. the thing is when you lay a decal down… (placing them on the inside of a clear plastic body) you have to paint white on it if its a lighter color decal otherwhise if you spray a darker color over it, your decal may appear darker, as these decals are not completely opaque.

i will see what i can get tomorow. i think a friend has a digi cam. its looking pretty good though. i wanna get some of that water-slide decal paper. but i dont want to pay 27usd for it. with the decals you can add a lot more detail and some of us with mad photoshop skills would really be able to make some eye catching paint schemes…:smiley16:

well. half and half. the truck body was plastic with a die cast under body. the suburban had a diecast body and plastic underbody. either way it didnt matter. those were just molds. the first pic, was when the truck was about half finished….
