He has been very fear with me, and has read all about my OEM problem.

I can recomend any one to buy “bit cars” from the traider going by the name

    on Ebay UK

    Nice one ,many thanks.

    Hi there,

You guys were right! After the seller got my cheque he told me the car was a fake! but told me before he cashed the cheque.

So I stoped the cheque and the bank did it for free on the bases that the guy was a con man!!!

    That l’ll teach him!!!

    Thanks.

If I recall correctly, the only thing the US will be getting is the 27 MHz and 49 MHz cars. The FCC limits hobbyists to those 2 frequencies for ground based R/C applications.

It looks like you’ll HAVE to have someone from outside the US mail it to you.

I’ve been into R/C cars since the mid 80’s, and there have only been those 2 freq’s allowed. I wouldn’t count on a new freq being released here anytime soon.

If it is a fake, would it be no good?

Should I try to drive it up the sellers bottom! (or force it side ways).

    Thanks

Check my site. That’s probably the easiest suggestion I can make. Look for “MicroSizers” and “KIT Racing”.

Looks like a fake one to me. It doesn’t say ‘Tomy’ in the top right corner like the genuine ones do. See this auction:

Nah – you’re both right. I’ve found that it’s more about what matching of gearing to motor you use. The higher load you have on the motor then more current it will draw flattening the battery faster.

Likewise running the car on constant throttle will use less power than pulsing the throttle!

Engine load is your enemy not engine rpm.

well i think the s2k that your talking about is one of the earliest models, i think there was only a skyline a s2k, the ones that came with the 2.2 were the first run, i got one of the first skylines, and it came with the 2.2 and i havent noticed anything wrong with it as of yet, but im not sure if yours is real

    MMMMMM…… I have to disagree.

The higher the RPM of the motor, the more juice that it is going to need to drain from the battery to maintain that speed, so therefore the quicker it will run the charge out of the battery, (generally). Namuna’s results may have been a one off, or for some reason he may just be lucky enough to get varying charges, but I doubt that you would more often than not get 7 minutes run time with a 2.6 and only 3 with a 2.2 …

Sold in HK as Bensu Thunderbolt Racing Cars.

    Sold in US as MicroMites.

Go to http://www.QuestFormadness.com and read the article “Attack of the Clones” which discusses the many different clones available.

They are Bit Char-G, for all practical purposes. They’re a Chinese knock-off product. Counterfeit, and completely unlicensed. Some people have had good luck with them, others have reports several problems (like loose gears).
