Check your other post in technical. But it sounds like a OEM car of some sort.
silla
Red stickers? Is it an original? Who did you buy from?
Well, coming from my experience with the 2.2, the 2.6 and the 3.8 I can say this…
Runtimes (in a stock Skyline GT-R, with 9.86:1 gear and NiCad battery):
2.2 = Less that 3 minutes
2.6 = Up to 7 minutes
3.8 = Right around 4 minutes.
Just because they’ve got higher RPM, doesn’t necessarily mean they’re chewing more power.
Your truck looks the coolest thing yet, on the net.
But,
Would it drive over let alown crush my 1/5th scale 22cc petrol racing car ?
Would you sell your truck?
Yours Rob B
Thnx i needed that
bmw m3, 2nd gen mr2, 95 accord coupe, nissan r33, audi tt, s15/s14/s13 silvia, jdm integra (non-USDM), maybe a focus, is300/altezza, previous model nsx (92-01), maybe a re-do of the s2000 body (the current one looks goofy), sc300/soarer, gs430/aristo, ….all i can think of right now….ill post more when i think of more models
I’ve had a look at the schematic and it seems simple enough and as an electronics engineer I don’t see any reason why the forward/back input to the micro (in transmitter) cannot be PWM’d to give proportional speed.
The left right could also be PWM’d but as its effectively just a couple of solenoids in the car (for steering) then proportional control is likely to be less effective than on the motor.
Anyway PWM at the controller is a good idea and in principal it should work.
Now to put it into practice…If I get something working I’ll post the info up on my web site…
http://pub40.ezboard.com/bdemonicphunkhmmm..i should try this. the steering isnt equal on mine either :smiley5:
The steering responsiveness is slow, in both a 2.2 and 1.0. These tires have sticky rubber compound and the surface area is wide. The steering will not respond unless the car is engaged in forward or backward motion.
I have plastic cast monster tires, and when placed on the front axles, the problem is resolved and steering is normal again. This is because the plastic tires were much lighter, and actually had a very thin small contact area with the surface right down the middle of the tread. I never ran plastic tires on the rear axle because I would have to create a completely new axle just to test, whereas the front pins are easy to swap out.
The other way to remedy the slow steering is to make the car 2.4v dual cell. this will give both torque and a stronger magnetic signal to the steering.
The car is modded on a clear body to showcase the suspension. Had this been a painted body, you guys would have a hard time seeing themechanics of the suspension. this mod is largely for aesthetics and really just proof of theory that it could be done, and we wanted to be first!
I have a 45 Mhz Supra and i got the new capacitators today. i opened up my controller and found that my controller i pretty much different than your NSX-R’s in almost every way so im going to attempt finding it so i need to know what numbers are printed on the capicitator you removed. Mine has a little tiny chip at c2
Dude, that thing is freakin awesome!!! Thattruck kicks the crap out of a stomper. How’s the steering?
What’s up with that invisible shell? Is that what wonder woman drives when she’s not flying her jet? LOL
Great job, it’s beefed
This mod has been posted on the QuestFormadness.comwebsite. Special thanks to Gamecubeman for breaking it to us all.
I painted it with aTamiya Fluorescent Green spray can.
3 coats Green and2 coats clear.also brushed on the brake,blinker and texsted in the windows.
It come up quite well.But the paint isn’t as bright as the spray can lid.But it still looks good.
I hope they release a clear supra so you can paint it like F & the F.or you could paint over the silver one.
You could get an OEM3.8 from http://www.QuestFormadness.com for $11 US, but the shipping to AUS might be steep.If the 3.8 is all your ordering, email qfm@comcast.net directly and geta s/h quote, and you may be able to avoid the intl shipping surcharge, which would drop shipping to $4 US. Hope this helps.
Go to QuestFormadness.com and visit the mod section. There are several mods for increasing range including telescopic antennas, car antenna upgrades, as well as capacitor removal from the controller and from the car.
hope this helps.
Sorry for taking so long to reply Nick,
the DX4900 is a 4.0mega pixel camera and can take shots with a printable size of 20×30″ (pretty damn big!!) It takes a damn nice picture and while it’s not as customisable as my old DC4800 (stolen) it’s still an excellent camera and you can get extra lenses for it
I should have my Ford Focus Tin car and turbo kit from Frenetic tommorrow!
It depends on you.
For some of us, $34 is chump change. For others, it’s not.
I personally would rather buy another kit for that price. A 3.0 motor is just for running around, which I find is boring. It’s too fast to do anything fun, unless your idea of fun is watching your car flip while you take turns.I’d rather spend $34 on another car, grab a buddy and build a makeshift track. I’m sure you’ll get more enjoyment out of that.
hes talking about the little bitty one in between the yellow brick and the red resistor
Alright, are you talking about that brown ‘brick’ at the bottom left of this picture?

i have the movie on dvd with english subs not a scratch on the disc, if you are interested email me
i have the movie, if you are interested email me
Well I want a Hummvee and guess what I found one the remote looks like a rock its too killer.
Hey guys,
I found this “chip” in my S2000 (from K-Mart), took it out. And, nothing really. I may have got half a foot extra range, but not much at all..
Anyway, I lost the chip (it’s so tiny!), so hopefully my Bit keeps working without it 🙂
I think Madman have got the right to release the series in Aus but I dot know when they will do it.
The car I would love to see
