make sure the fine wires (4) aren’t broken. good luck!:smiley2::8ball:

pete, you’re a walking luggage carousel!:8ball:
the alloy servo gears were much stronger than the plastic ones, it took a really big hit to break the alloys. you sydney siders have the added advantage of being far away from merc “mr damage” blueblackeye::8ball:

http://members.surfeu.de/cyberjunky/dragtrack.htmlafter going back to plastic servo gears my steering is much smoother. but it looks like the metal servo gears aren’t alloy after all, so there’s a good chance i can repair them with some solder.
don’t crash? well it’s happening less and less now. i think i’m getting better at this driving caper!:smiley2::8ball:

well, i’m expecting some goods from an ebay shop that always stocks xmods. i’ll let you know how it goes. the only trouble i’ve had with ebay is winning bidders that don’t buy their goods!:8ball:

xmods are slow. they take quite a bit of modifying to get them up to decent speed, most i’ve heard of is about 40kph or so. mini z’s on the other hand can be made to launch into orbit:p:8ball:
