it’s like totally a thing! hobbyking is definitely the place to look or if on a budget check out banggood.com, good prices on a lot of racer and fpv stuff. don’t cut corners on monitor equipment, go hard on the hi-def stuff, you’ll be glad you did! :8ball:
nope :8ball:
the iwaver 02 (as opposed to the 02m) will take the same parts as a kyosho mini z mr02, you could try rc kennon for that stuff.
the bigfoot though may find you shopping locally (vic), try gigspeed

:8ball:i can’t see why not, the extra .2V shouldn’t be an issue. :8ball:
i’m not really sure, i’ve never installed either of them before. :8ball:
i’ve got the spider install pdf, i’ll try to attach it here. if that doesn’t work pm me your email and i’ll send it that way. :8ball:
wait, who’s place is this at?
i don’t have one of those motors but i’m happy to just muck around in an unnoficial way :8ball:
i think i’ll be able to make this one! :8ball:

Also I always wondered what the deal with the 8ball was?
when i first joined ausmicro i’d never used the internets and i didn’t know about emoticons. i thought the idea of signing off using a little picture was way cool, and the coolest one we had was the 8 ball. so i just went with it and haven’t stopped! :8ball:

December 9, 2009 at 10:13 am in reply to: Burncity MiniZ – Saturday Dec 5th 2009, Box Hill, Melbourne #60633the track to the side was a practice oval.
man, that was the best event yet! even though i had the worst mechanical day ever!!
first i broke the kingpin mount on my chassis, new main chassis required. thankfully wing wong had a spare laying around!
i managed to do the changeover between heats then i rolled in my 2nd heat and got t-boned on the straight. i noticed something weird with my steering and at the end of the heat discovered a broken h plate.
3rd heat, my steering was buggered. i knew the servo gears needed a clean so i pulled the steering apart and cleaned the servo gunk. i thought that would be the end of it all.
put it back together, no steering!! during the servo gear clean i broke a servo pot wire. i missed the 4th heat!! son of a thingo!!!11!!
normally when i get together with ph2t he’s the one who has neverending mechanical problems. this time around i suffered every problem i never had.
but it was the best meet we’ve ever had!!!!:D
interstate? intercontinental? no excuse!! get your arse down to the next burn city mini z or die!!!11!!!! :8ball:
p.s. foam tyres are the best tyres i’ve ever used on this track! i’ll never look back!
you mean like this? :smiley16:
what you see is a 50mah lipo from an ir helichopper. you’ll have to add a charging plug and a switch. :8ball:i’ve got one of those too, been a while since i did a single cell but from memory it charged them fine.
maybe try discharging the cell hard like using a light globe then see how it charges. i’ve found the 500ma discharge rate doesn’t really kick the cell into knowing it’s gonna be used if you grt my meaning. :8ball:
