30A OR 74A as in current from a hot motor. low turn motors like mini4wd motors, runing a 15turn 180 motor noproblem. 30v as in limit on how many volts u kan hook up to the car w/o fryin it.

i love ur work too. ive seen ur off road bit. thas very cool. kindof like a tiny version of my off road xmod
there is this thing called a reg mod. it basicly a 5v voltage regulator hooked up to tha board. wut it does is regulates the voltage goin to tha main IC (IC1) so it doesnt burn it. while tha drive fets/motor get full power. up to 30v. or wut ever tha reg u use kan handle. thas one of tha main things done to tha car. other mods consist of:
hpi 45t motor
awd
raised motor custum motor mount
wht bevel gear
21 tooth pinion
modified blue bevel as my new pinion
2×2 fet stacks (drive and steering)
all wires changed to speaker wires (stock wires suk!)
4 lions AA size cells (14.4v) steady
car is practicly done. jus waiting on cells
seems like my album isnt workin rite now (link below) but theres pics therewut i mean about mixing pinions and bevels, is like useing a 10 tooth pinion with a wht stock bevel gear (great combo btw) w/o a small mod u wuldnt be able to this becuz of a bad gear mesh. heres tha fix, cut small pieces off tha end of a pen ink tube. thoes will be ur new spacers. used between the motor mount and chassie around tha screw. this raises the motor for a good gear mesh. if u ever plan to change ur motor on the rs4. use that 180 in ur xmod. it will give way better torque and acceleration
wich question? i did mention set up of tha cars. i see how sumone like u would think xmods suck by owning one ur self, cus a new xmod rite out tha box does suck. simple fet upgrade and a hot motor changes all that. mixing bevels and pinions makes a huge difference too. these car so much potentential from wut i know no one on this board knows about. i hav one car thas jus waiting on cells tha will destroy any rs4 with a 300 motor or smaller. and before u listen to ur “bs meter” again ask how. only if ur intrested
im not to sur about tha xray but i bet it can. tha rs4 more option on upgrades since the xray jus came out. theres xrays that race out here do great. tha independant suspention helps alot with stablity. after corner exit speed are faster with a micro. xrays are limited to 180 size motors from wut i know so far but there should be away to mout 280s – 300 size motors. micros are more open to upgrades from 180 – 540 size motors and more cells. xrays are limited to 5cell, unless u pile more of tha existing but it would make one side heavier than tha other. xray hav a silid drive shaft that means no belt to catch dirt bind up or get stuck. 2 frens of mine hav xrays, theyre great if u wan a good handling reliable fast car to hav fun with. but if ur planin on heavy modding id go with mrs4. but do concider duratraxx micro street force, it alot cheaper for a rtr and most parts are exchangable with mrs4. and tha quality is great. theres a garantie on all tha plastic its made of. im planin to get one my self. i luv the suspention and battery configuiration. and it does feel like its biult a lil better than my mrs4

hey, calm down spanky, main reson why xmods do better drifts is with tha help of 4wd. Zs how ever can drift but takes a whole lot of practice and skill. but most of tha time jus spinout everywhere. i drift bits? i found that almost imposibble. maybe a good swing of the rear and thas about it.
most of tha rs4s i race belong to newbie of tha rc world so there mod are pretty mild. mods consist of rtr micros with either big blocks or hpi 45t motors, most with 6 cell packs. wich are pretty fast.

4 cell wich i kan choose to swich to 6 or 2 li ionsmain reason i keep up and win sumtimes even with 4 cell. is cus stock front diffs on rs4 arent to good for stability on the smooth road corse pavment at our local rc racetrack. they like to loose conrol and spin on turns. th guys that dont spin have to really slowdown. as me me where i could floor it most tha time plus with a smaller car comes wider lanes.
so if ur “BS meter” is kickin let it. i dont care. im jus here to share my insite, wut i know and learn about bits. u should of ask questions bfore u got ur panties ina knot. with all ur 100s of dallors woth of rcs u own, one would think ur would be pretty cool since most guys wid rcs are. but i guess i wus wrong. jus another closed mind sh*t talkin knowit all. trust ur on ina million. ur kind of a stiff for being a sponser for a pretty koo rc board.
BTW: it wusnt a xmods vs z thing. it wus about drifting. im sure u know wut that is.

tamya model moster truck kit. tha rear shock wus modded to a mono shock. single strut across. give tha dope twisting action an offroader needs.
maybe ill jus leave the pavment driftin to my rs4. the xmod will jus stay driftin in tha mall or slick tracks. still is a great pavment racer. my 4 cell hangs and beats mildly tuned micro rs4s at tha race track. and if u hav a xmod one of tha best things to do for it is to break in tha drive train. by puttin a crap motor in it. hook up direct power and let it run overnight lube bushings and moveing parts while running. it should roll like silk w/o tha motor instaled.
the restriction sux when u first get tha car newthnx man, if u scroll down ther a bunch of pics to show tha trucks making and a post of how did most it. if u need more pics let me know wut parts and type of pics u wannah see
thas setup is for like waxed floors and stuff. im gonnah try tha bottle cap thing but i dont think ill hav enough traction to command tha drifts
SI4562DY best fets i ever used. plus race proven. fastest Zs and xmods outhere use them
xmods do suck when u first get it. heres a trick. swich IC5 into a steering fet. more torque. or do a fet upgrade like a mini z. awd, i recomend useing 2 gear diffs. pn so3 great motor for xmod. slick floors, mini zs dont hav a chance. all my frens have Zs. theyre great cars but have theyre limits. expensive to fix or modify. stock for stock. Zs are better. xmods hav more potential than u guys think. we also hav this thing kalled a reg mod, it installs a 5v voltage regulater to tha main ic so it wont burn with added voltage. run it tha most 30v w/o burning tha board.

tha atomicmods site has lion cell for u Z lover aswellxmods do drift mine does it great. like a mini size yokomo drift car. micro rs4 and xmods are tha only micros i know that can drift.

i say xmod. i got one so i could race my friends w/ minizs and im not too rich. suprizingly a fet change and a good motor kan smoke Zs. and the servo kan take more hits tha a mini z servo. awd helps a whole lot on slick surfaces. drifts like a champ
