funny cus it sounds like alot but its not much. its acually mellowed down from my setup before wich had 2×2 stack, custom plasma dash(rewound arm’30t, neos and BB). this new set up has way more torque and the battery life i wus looking for, i only lost about 4kph off the checker 34 down to 30…i guess its alot haha. plus i needed fets for another car.

i use a diamond knife sharpener and a power drill. hehe works great but i think super fine sand paper would work jus as good

wut motor are u usuing in ur servo? i found that ZZmotor and clone bcg(shen qi wei) motors work alot better since they are the coreless type and provide more torque. unlike bcg motors that are normal 3 pole motors.

do u really need tha super thick wire? i used 16 gauge silicone flex then went down to a 20 gauge and didnt notice tha difference at all. if u went to a smaller gauge it would be alot cleaner and lighter from wut i noticed.

ionnoe. i guess its backwards for me. as soon as i got fets and resistors in my xmod i wus done with the miniZs. miniz, xmods they all break. thas why we mod. to me miniZs are jus too weak. i got tired of broken flex plate and servo gears. ive been spiold with awd. i can drive on any surface nomatter how slippery(wood, waxed, rough pavment and un evan serfaces) a change of fets and neos is a good starting piont for these things.

yeah still havnt seen it in stores yet but i can wait, i dont hav any cash to get one any way. i ike it alot. its set up like a real monster truck. mid engine, high center and 2 drive shafts. i cant wait to get one

sorry about my last post, i ment ZZ(zipzap). i still havnt seen tha ss ones in stores yet. i want one so bad. it has suspention like miniz mt. plus 4wd and can use the old bodies

jus got done messin w/ the SS mt it so cool. full time awd. wheelies, floats over piles of legos, piano keys, pens and pencils, loads of torque, baby cv, dog bones, and cups, soft grippy tires, shaft drivin, dual cell. top speed, slow. jus like a stock SS. i want to see how it does with the speed booster kit.

omg! i really want one now! cheack out these motors.

i dont think its tank controls either cus it only comes with one set of each gear. one tranfer and one axle. saw sping in the front too. 4wd! i must hav it!.

yeah i have a friend thas been frying 130s like crazy. sumwut of a voltage slash current freak. aways running at least 3 Li-ions. most of the time 4. hes more into high speed and draging. im pretty happy with my 4 and 6 cell. i luv my 4 more. i jus had to do a six to be part of the race with my frens. they all hav 1/18s. me, no money. stuck with returned xmods(cheaper). i still would like to buy one new. i noticed all the new series xmods run better. i guess they fixed most of the prolems the older first batch had.

cool. i may need sum info o that. i jus added another cell to my controller. seems to e workin jus fine.

anyway im goi to be tryin to get mor ZZs now that i know some of them come with front srings. i put them in one of my single cell BCGs now it hanldes great resrly spins out no matter how slippery or how dirty tha tires get. i can still dpin it out at will. now im able to do a rolling 360 and recover. zombie voice* “must get more springs” haha

pretty easy, it hooks up jus like any other dual cell. so it can still charge the same way, except for tha fact ull have another battery atached to ur controller.

edit: oh yeah and rest the board in backwards

why not li-pos? from wut i herd li-ion kinda suck at keeping steady current at pushing low turn motors, start to studder. but ionnoe, i still need to save like 20bux to do sum expermentation with with lithiums my self. in car that is, besides my truck or my rs4

thnx alot ppl. a returned Zipzap i had got for free had suspention springs in the front instead of the see saw sway bar thing. i jus istalled the springs in my black 350z handled so much better. ive been wanted these sprigs for long time. does anyone know wut im talkin about? and if so, where can i get more? im thinking mybe the previous owner left them in there. i havnt checked at the new ZZ’s yet ut i woder if they all come with springs now.
