yeah, same reason I took off… just too cold. I thought I did have some decent competition… your car caught mine on more than afew occaisions, and beat me a couple too. Traction did seem to be letting you down some, but you’re not the only one…:smiley2:

not a bad day yesterday, ‘cept for the fact the wind was FREEZING. Oh, and only three people showed up… oh well. Was just too cold to justify staying, even with the achieved speeds…

Jamie; GPM motor mount, aluminium. That red threadlocker you refer to is Loctite 222, got some on order, it WILL fix my problems (tested it at work last Thursday.) Anyway, the thing is shaking itself apart… now the mount screws are locked in, the damn bulkhead ones come undone. And would rather not lock them into place…blackeye:

what I found with my MR-02 is that due to suspension limiters over the kingpins the knuckle movement (and hence front suspension) is limited to a tiny 1.5 – 3mm, which feels like nothing compared to MR-01… i’ve got s/s kingpins and front spring set too, and I feel it may make a difference if the limiters are removed altogether… anyone tried this?

that grub screw is 2mm… try a jewellers screwdriver set, that’s one place you’ll get a allen key that small, or if your local hardware store has em singly, mya be your best bet…:smiley2:

no worries, will bring all MR-02 parts…and the Endless, gotta give it another run, this time with an Xspeed in and higher gearing. Not carbon fibre? Oh, ok… who’s it made by? If it is the thing I think it is, i’ll take it. Your first description had me wondering, tis all. I have compared the mount holes on the MR-01/MR-02 h plates, the holes are diferent, but not by much. We’ll have a muck around with things on Sunday…

what do you want for it mate? Will bring extra $$ for you if you’re going to be there this Sunday:D

    $10 AUD and it’s yours. 🙂

I bought a couple of them with the intention of converting my mr02mm to mr1.5 – but that’s all changed now that I have a second mr01. I’m just going to run the mr02 as a mm and win all the track races.

Check out the following links for more info:

I am coming this Sunday – got to test out the nelly.:)

    K.

ifs its just a conversion plate to run MR-01 pod then i’ll give it a miss. Maybe. I’ve got two conversion plates as is, but bring it with you, I will no doubt take it anyway…:smiley2:

you’ve outlined the only storage method i’ve got… damn thing is 1.2 x 2.2 metres… standing up does help it keep its shape, but I would love to have it set up full time somewhere…

just a small question; where does everyone keep their track when not in use? Permanently set up, or shoved in a corner? (like mine…:smiley2:) z-beam; nice work. Is that track two piece?

I had to do this at work the other day, bloody silver one went flying, and guess what colour the metal shavings, etc. are on the floor here at work? Seriously, did’nt find it for two hours. Had given up on it actually, but it reappeared. betty; Loctite – you’re half right. Ages ago I was pulled up before I used this destructive product on my Xmod knuckles, if you remember. Destroys plastic. Melts it. Better bet, (still Loctite brand); 222 thread lock. Red bottle, works wonders. Just a thought…:smiley2::D
