or it could be done that way… that’d be the only logical way to do it actually. So in Sydney we have; Mocky – Iwaver readyset, Novin – Kyosho Xspeed motor, dgs73 – 2 x Xspeed motors… any other Sydney guys adding to this order could you list parts, etc. under this post

More than anything else i’m interested in shaving weight off the thing, it’s such a overweight bugger! The off-white front and rear peices on top of the chassis will be first to go. And Jamie; that aluminium tubing you asked about – we have it. You wanna re-do your drive shaft as well?
good question Kev… Im getting a couple of motors myself (3 including Novin’s), but if enough of us up here are getting parts I would think the postage would become neglegable as more people add to the order. Conversely, I could pony up the extra $$ needed for postage costs. A thought…

That should be more than enough… I had a list of about 50 track layouts that one of my workmates inadvertedly erased from the pc… grrr. I’ll see what I can dig up, but i’m pretty flat-chat this week so I cant promise anything. Me and Pete will draw up afew tomorrow night
struth mate… with all the things you do to my cars, i’ve got an idea… i’ll move to Tassie… yeah mate, that’d be sweet. I’ll send it down with the Torque tuned, dunno when though will be soon
funnily enough, my X is modded, but not much… a.w.d., bearings, sring & tie rod set (med. springs, 1.5 degree toe in rod), stage 2 motor set (11 tooth pinion and motor installed… I think it’s the yellow one), tyre upgrade (treaded hard installed.) So, it’s not too slow, but I think a v12 + fets may just help the cause. I (like some of my fellow Aussies) have a very weird sense of humour. I was not trying to rev you up, I ‘spose it was an agressive disagreement. BS meter has since been shorted out with a screwdriver… also, when you say mixing bevels and pinions, do you mean, say, 12 tooth motor with, say, the yellow or white bevel gear? Keeen to know more about this…
Ok. my crappy rs4 still has the stock 180 (hard wired to the speed contoller; really… will deal with this), was keen to throw a 540 at it. (Got the speedie to deal with it). Ok im interestedavailability of parts for both in Australia will need to be brought into account… costs of importing, etc. Wanna buy an HPI Kevsta?!? lol
chino; question for you; running 7 cell at the mo, was keen to drop a certain 540 donk upside, that’ll need a bigger motor mount to accommodate, yes? (newish to HPI gear)first time i’ve seen in gun metal… look better than the alloy finish…

chino; calm down dood… take a pill… bottom line, I meant it’s easy to drift a car on polished/highly smooth surfaces… yes, the addition of an a.w.d. helps drifts (for the sacrifice of turning circle), but it was your claim of Xmod near stock beating RS4s that I found hard to swallow… now i’m aware the HPIs are near stock form too, the chance is there. As for my not asking questions, you wanna read my last post ahgain mate? You’ll find what I asked. I am also here to share insite. As for name calling… well… whatever dood. painted dirt Jamie… this guy’s good. Damn I wish Kyosho’d go further than giving us 7 colours (or for you Arch; colors) on the same shape body! And these look more at home atop the Monster chassis than the 70’s muscle car shalls that’re appearing about the place…
i’m not playing the Xmods vs vMini Z any more. I know whick i prefer, and i’m sticking to it. Dare I say chino, that the only reason you can drift is (QUOTE!!) “IN THA MALL OR DRIFT TRACKS”, Ifound the same thing on my parents backroom floor, ie. any car’ll slide if the surface is slippery enough and the power’s high. S**t, I drift Bits then if that the case… Also, what setup are you (Xmod) and they (RS4) using if you’re beating them? Sorry ’bout all this, but my b.s. meter went skits… Out.

betty; you mean the Mad force or the Mini Mad force? This thing’s only a touch bigger than the Monster, yet it can be upgraded to a 370(?) sized motor… thats almost triple the size of the Monster’s motor. As for 14 AAs…

Sunday midday; i’m there. Monday; not sure, probably the same time. Add to that Novin, JayZ, Petewah, and my flatmate Justin finally has his Z working properly again… ’bout time dude!
