WOW, very nice job. And where did you get your barriers?
WOW, very nice job. And where did you get your barriers?
axels, gears (if you use the pinon that comes with the K.I.T’s as well), motor, tyres, heat sink, bat. Don’t think I missed anything? Body? Haven’t tried that yet..
Hey guys, the K.I.T charger isn’t compatible with the bits. And almost all of the clone chargers will accomidate the bits as well. So buying a cheap clone and hacking apart the controller to use for your bit is the best idea, imo. I think Crom’s idea with the rails would be very cool in principal. GT-ahh are you thinking of doing a mini LeMans like race:)(the car mods alone would be very cool). Thanks for the info micro Amps.
What is the release date for the pullbacks?
Keep them, they are kind of kool! When you fig out what to do with them then just let everyone know.
Sorry, a bit confused now?? If I want to buy a Nihm battery do I get a 1/3 AAA or a 1/4 AAA?? I think I will take one of my Nicd’s in with me when I check out the stock at the local shop:(
Thanks john. Didn’t know that the buses had different bodies, nissan and isuzu.
Hey everyone. Nice Site Aaron and Derek and all that were involved. Nice to see things still moving along in the ausmicro world:)
The magnets would be BAD on the slot car track with the power on.
I think I like it. Thanks again for all your hard work. And I agree with japtaxi re: avatars, gives some personality to the members:). I really like the xtra features…
nice job, that cross over should add a little excitement to your races;)
Well there are lots of domed bullet type cars. Most of the Bensu bullets are slower then 2.6. Some bullets are fast and may be 2.6+. It really depends on which OEM car you got and what the colour on the end of the motor is (most times that can give you an idea of speed). Find out which bullet you got, you can start by checking http://www.toyeast.comunder there radio controlled cars or by checking out one of the reviews on clones either here or elsewhere. Just a warning, I have lost track of the number of clones that are actually out there now.
good luck and have fun with your new car:) What car did you get?
Very good Idea Trackmaster, I was kind of thinking along the same lines… If you were to build square pieces, kind of like modified slot car track pieces, you could move the pieces around in different combos just like building blocks. My only prob with this is that I wanted to incorporate an overpass:(, this may increase the module pieces a bit as to get a shallower ramp. Good idea, let us know how it is working? If I ever get around to it I will try to put hammer to nail as well.
Is the four band controller really that bad?
Thanks Shypo, maybe one day $$$$ sigh. Post xmas $ always sucks:(
The white and red bus looks like the bus in my hometown. Cool. Sorry Shypo, would be in for the deal but for the diiisssttaaannnceee. How many bits do you have now??
Sorry Shypo, try toyeast.com for the 206. I think you can pick up the shell or the bensu bullet with the shell. I picked up the blue at a market this summer, but the silver is sweet as well.
I agree Shypo, but you can get some clear clone bodies (bitchar-a) that you can paint up yourself:) They come packaged just like the bit bodies one painted (usually with decals) and one clear. There isn’t a big price diff between the two just that the clear clone bodies may be better to try out paint on?
Clones are always good, if you can get them cheap enough that is, for parts or learning or trying mods on. Nothing worse then killing a bit, when you could have killed a clone. They are also good for smallchildren or clumsy buddies to play with:)
Dave here is a pic from Tomy of the Digital Lap Counter. http://www.tomy.co.jp/bit_charg/products/parts/parts.htm
If I find anything else, I will post. The red and green leds are on the front of the counter.
Ok, tried all 3 games… I’ll leave judgement to everyone else. If nothing else the first game could give ppl ideas for new track designs. As for the last two games….
Dave, on the lap counter one red light, one green. They work great but are hard to see from anywhere other then right in fornt of them. Fortunately the beeps can be heard clearly. Haven’t found circuit diagram yet, and don’t have dig cam. May have to do it the old fashion way, with film:( I still think hooking the counter up to a clearly visible tree would be the best mod, but it still doesn’t solve timing a multi-car race. This probably doesn’t get you anywhere, sorry..
So you got the german rims? How much and how heavy?
I guess if you needed the space, you could always prop up the body like a funny car dragster.
