then & now? in 5 years time the original MR01`s would have still been produced where they were. and what do you mean about having a go at you?? are you an MR01? did you make them and i`m insulting your workmanship? what the #@%$ is this? ..i didn`t even want to reply to all this but didn`t someone mention bitching?? taking a dump in public isn`t cool but what do i do here..

i`ll have to have a look in jaycar, getting some spare bits and peices soon so might try and make an extra cell mod too 😀

..hadn`t really thought of that!! i guess you`re not going to keep an RC tank under your shirt and pull it on the servo guys so hopefully they`d be let in!! we could set up targets and shoot stuff- i want one 👿

i think tim had a go at adding another cell but stuff seemed to melt alot when he tried out new idea`s 👿 did you buy the extra cell holder as a single cell or mod a double?

..re-shaping wheel arches, dry racing bearings, pollishing king pins and cutting your car in half when it`s giving you the sh##ts!!

..the stock japanese MR01 chassis has a more greyish tinge to it rather than the black chinese ones, and all the japan models i`ve known about come with the older style control- the KT-2? ..i think!!

..and if i`m going to look into getting another MR01, wouldn`t you research the available products??

of the meadowbank guys i`d say it was between dgs & kevsta, though geo has a few tricks up his sleeve so.. the chicks love the rexy tho:D

…so anyhow, back to the chinese V`s japanese chassis!! all the japanese chassis MR01`s i`ve seen seem to be quicker out of the box! i`ve got the chinese chassis model, am i onto something or is it a “grass is greener” thing..

good work kevsta!! does the extra cell make the car go faster, the run time longer or both? i tried to buy a single AAA cell holder from dick smith the other day but they only had doubles..

i want a flapping robot rc bird like never before!! that thing is cool :smiley16: i had a wind up bird with moving wings when i was younger, got it in france but it chose it`s own direction & just kinda crashed when it ran out of, um, rubber band!!
