…now you drive on this netball court & we`ll be over here, lol:D ps talldude, hope you`re there this sunday- need to get those shocks from you! my Z won`t turn without spinning out, hopefully that will make it stick..
me & focca (dinged up silver Z8,& a new red one!)set out a garden hose track and taped it down, it worked out for a while but tape doesn`t wanna stick down too well still think we need to work out some track for down there, maybe with some jumps!! kevsta, thought we`d see you last weekend..

hey tim, long time no see (down meadowbank way!) do you know when the 950`s are going to be available? ..& where from? buy some and let us know!!
hey dejan, just looked at pictures/video of your car.. that thing is awesome!! is there such thing as a 6 cell MR01 chassis that you can buy over the counter??
..i`ll pull apart my braun rechargable & see what`s inside!! 180 motor hey? what are the brushes like, lol:D

..TD`s roll shocks are genuine kyosho, then i`ll work out if i need a friction shock aswell..for a little car these miniZ`s keep convincing me to spend!! just have to sell some lemonade out the front lol:D
..so mrbishi, what kinda car are you driving on the road these days? i`ll hopefully make it down to meadowbank this sunday & say G`day. ps. that`s an impressive list of hop up`s you`ve ordered, sure have jumped in the deep/fast end!!
thanx talldude, don`t know what happened to this post yesterday (tho can guess) there`s some funny stuff going on:D in this town!! i`ll be in touch soon…
well dave, i guess it`s a combination of getting my count up (& i`m sure you understand that one) and getting other peoples point of view. that`s how you find information without having to buy and trial every different combination. i thought that was the point of a forum.
yeah i kinda got that impression too, would a bearing case make that much of a difference? either way i could do with one, my Xspeed has a turbo attached so at the mo i can`t enter a stock Xspeed race and i`m getting flogged in the open class:sad:..probably still will with a bearing cased Xspeed/turbo combo but more is better right!!
man it`s getting hard to keep up with the pace!! i remember when my car was quick, & it wasn`t really that long ago. ah the joys of mini Z`s..
me and focca are in for the group buy, shocks, O plates, bearings, diff etc.. when we thinking this will happen? & are bearing cased Xspeeds on offer with this buy? -hope so!!
kevsta, never used them but geo can tell you the pro`s & cons.. if i remember right they give a reasonable performance gain, down side is that you have to pull the motor apart at the end of the day & clean it, something to do with dust and crap being attracted to the drops??!! geo??
thanks kevsta, i`ve gone back to a 9 tooth anyhow- too many meshing issues with anything bigger than that!! (& that`s what caused my plastic motor clip to snap in the first place) i`m keen on looking into a complete alloy motor mount but this topcad alloy clip is getting me by at the mo!!
i read somewhere that kevsta gave TD`s Xspeed the thumbs up, especially against a stock Xspeed. does kyosho put out the BB Xspeed or is this an aftermarket hop up? sounds like the motor to have when we`re having Xspeed races!!
oh yeah mrbishi, how did you bust your stock wheels? my miniZ`s been through alot (crashed, kicked, jumped, and foxton) and the wheels are a bit scratched but i can`t imagine them breaking! what`s the secret??
cheers DGS, i`ll look up some stuff i need to quote & give it go.. & yeah, is there ever a need to put spacers behind the metal motor mount clip (that goes on the stock plastic mount)i bought the other day? cant figure how i`d adjust it for spacing requirements when using 10 tooth+ pinion gears??
hey mrbishi, so mini Z`s are happening over there too!? how come the user name? ..used to have some old lancers done up for rally, what are you driving? ..& geo, long long time no see!!
i hear TD has some xtra special Xspeed, what`s the go with that? does it just have the bearing case or is there more to it?? PS talldude, thanx for the motor clip!!
DGS, i need a few tips on posting a reply with attached quote!! -kevsta, i think my peugeot blew up cos of a combo… bad luck, 8000 rpm & a tantrum!! i`m looking at between $5000-$9000 for a rebuild. looks like i`ll be driving around in a mini Z for a while…

However, the later tourer type porsches eg. taisan come with wide rears. You could dremel the inside of the wheel arches I guess if you really want to run wide rears with it.
You’re going to bring back some bad memories of it being run over by the bike.
That metal motor mount clip is available from most mini-z online retailers.
How did you blow up your peugeot ? Who were you racing with this time ? 🙂

the GT3 shell looks fine on the dummy chassis that focca`s red Z8 came on, wheels right to the gaurds. just that when i swapped the nose clip & put the GT3 shell on my 01 chassis, the wheels were way in. looked like a big fat chick with skinny legs
