Do we know how many rpms that motor does ? Anywhere near 36000 rpm ?

    :D:D:p

I’d like to know if I’ll come close when my motor arrives…:)

I got some Monster cable here if this is any good for you… heaps of it, will cut you off some. Check it out before you go cutting up multimeter leads:p

Thanks for that Dgs, wouldn’t mind having getting some of that stuff. The cable I have is affecting the handling somewhat.

    🙂

I’m gonna have a weapon of mass destruction in a weeks time, just waiting on a “special” motor to come from overseas.:)

And I think I need to revisit the handling department with all this new found torque…

Ph2t, great product – I’m very happy with it.

Gotta shop for some soft silicon wire now… hope jaycar have some.

I won’t be coming this week – got to spend time with the family, next week is looking better for me at this stage.

I just installed nelly this afternoon and noticed so much more torque from the x-speed motor I couldn’t wipe the grin off my face.]:D:D

Time to do some motor shopping now.

Sounds like the round magnet needs to be flipped around, centered and fixed in it’s holder with a drop of super glue.

I had several pairs over the years before shattering my right knee,

Man, that would’ve hurt – hope you recovered from that. Were you into jumping and sliding on hand rails and stuff like extreme sports ?

There are two basketball courts down a prince alfred swimming pool/old cleveland st. High school down Central way. These could be used for Mini-z racing if they ain’t occupied.

that is so much a good idea… you still got ‘blades Pete? We vould skate over there in about 15 mins…:)

In my youth, these things were called roller skates. I could never keep my balance on those things. I recall when I was at Centennial park one time and this guy was bladeing full speed on the road (the down hill side of the park) and stacked it right in front of me, he continued to body roll (?) for a further 10 metres and when he got up he had bleeding elbows and knees and probably other places too.

Put me off it, but then again, I never got into them.

I think hobbyco have 4 mr01 mini-z readysets of the vw beetle going for $140 each.

Or shop around on the net, you could get some good bargains.

I’m picking up a second hand one for $80.

    😀
