    And then there are posters like ME!

    Not much technical know how, but never afraid to put my two cents worth in.

    If you think the threads are dying/fading whatever, then be creative yourself and post something positive that people will respond to.

    Most of the people around here are always willing to put up their opinion, even if they can’t back it up (that’s me mostly :smiley2:)
    but generally a good bunch.

    So, instead of noting that the forums are dying, liven them up!
    Find something to write about!
    Start a poll!
    Flash a picture of a great mod!
    Inspire someone!

    Get the grey matter going my friend with more positive and less negative and the threads will be flowing again in no time…..
    that will keep everyone busy until the new models arrive…. EVENTUALLY!!!!!!

    Picking on the car in the logo?

    For a start, it wouldn’t matter what car you picked, you can’t please all of the people all of the time.

    Next, red white and blue has been mentioned in connection with the French and American, *ahem* what colours are on the Australian flag fellas???

    But I think the red white and blue was chosen because it is the most popular colour combination for a marketable environment, and supposedly not controversial ~ sheesh, that was wrong huh? :smiley2:

    AS FOR RED GOING FASTER………………..

    Absolutely 100% spot on there!

    Light reflects at different wavelengths through the colour spectrum, and red reflects light at a different frequency…. basically this effect means that aerodynamically, red cars have less drag coefficient and therefore….

    *drum roll*

    RED CARS ACTUALLY GO FASTER!!!!

    tada!!!!!

    ie/ best body, best decal placement, best overall look

    Just an offer if anyone wants an impartial judge.

    My first r/c was a MiniZ…

    My sweet blue GTR, pics as seen in the merchandising thread sporting my home made ausmicro decals.
    And my Mazda too.

    The hummer came along very shortly after that and my BCG GTR is awaiting finalisation of the transaction.

    I am a newbie to it all, and have been playing with R/C’s for only about 6 months……..
