this is my mini in action, the yellow is a good racing colour as it actually allows me to see the thing in action!

the thing is with my order they had to ship it from 2 different locationsbecause some of the parts were in different locations in the US.

first part of my order came in less then 10days still waiting for the rest of it!

strange way of shipping things if you ask me.

so castle hill is a track and has a hobby store on site aswell aye?

my mini’s paint job is qik cheep and nasty but hey ive always been into racing my cars not presentation. thats my excuse for lack of skill and patients.

as for castle hill which nights are they anyway? i might go in the next few weeks after i get my mini sorted i always wanted to race in a big field of minis should be hell funny to watch and race in 😀

just a bit of advice needed for me guys.

if i put a thin layer of silver down then paint over it with blue would the blue come out through the silver?

or you can buy a tamiya decal sheet with the union jack for the roof :smiley2:

i like the look of the union jack so ill get it, but ill paint the roof white anyway knowing my driving skills(or lack of) it will come off lol

but if your using a brush for the fenders with black paint how many coats do you need to apply so that when you spray later on with a spray can it dont show up and through the black? is it 3 or 4?

im trying to work out how to do the roof aswell kev let us know what you get to cover up that thing.

also a baja king is a cheap offroader why not consider that one good if you dont have to much smooth stuff.

yeah yeah so its a good rc tt01 aint great i admit that. but still theres other cars besides hpi and tamiya.

starters depends where you get them from 400- 450 useally comes with everything in it.

or go hong kong internet shopping get them for cheaper.

hey merc they come with an alloy shaft but an alloy motor mount is a must if runing hotter motors or if your going to run it for long periods.

tb02 is a good starter kit comes with some hop ups standard ie bearings, oil shocks, alloy shaft and heat sink. plus tamiya build quailty is great!

but yeah type of rc would be great cause there is a world of offroad!

i myself love my zip zap monster considering getting another to hop-up LOL
