Here’s a serious question for all you racers out there.

If you were going to enter a race with an electronic timing system that used small transponders how would you mount them?

Is it working yet or is it still an idea?
I wouldn?t mind the transponder being inside the car under the PCB but people with internal dual cells might not fit them in.

But if it only weighs 0.6 grams on top of the PCB would be ok.

You would have to have it universally mounted so no one car has an advantage with weigh disruption, like they do in real race cars.

Im building a track at the moment and would like to know how this system works exactly?

i like the 2.2 motor. why? well it has enough power to go around a track plus you can control them and when it has a dual battery or fet mod on them them fly.

but for fun and cool speeds a 4.2 motor is nice.

i suggest you order a few things at once off toyeast because the shipping is sooo expensive. the perfection light kit is really cool i have both clear and blue lights. they make the car look nice especially the blue lights. 😀

with the 4.2 motor you get two motors for the price of one and they are a little bit better then 3.8 for 10cents more you get two motors!!

plus if you can get some gears and tires that way you can fully control the new faster motor no matter what type you get:smiley2:

well i found it at MIranda i sydney the store is called vagg’s hobby’s. they also had SMARTLAND tanks but i forget what price they were.

the IR Racer clone looks strange on the box it says rx-7 but it aint no rx-7 i have ever seen before. very strange shape. but the control looks like the thing is proportional steering or like a digi q’s steering???

i saw a IR Racer at a hobby store in the suburbs of sydney today, was just wondering are they clones of digi q’s ????

they look like they have ir control’s on them. do they perform as well as a digi q???

is it worth the 25 bucks to get one?

i just got the 4.2 motors in the post today have to admit the white cap 4.2 is quicker then my 3.8 percection on carpet.

but the blue cap 4.2 runs very similar to my 3.8 perfection.

they work well in booster cars aswell giving good torque off boost.
so they are worth it if you want faster motors 😀

guess i wont know to i try it aye :smiley2:

when i get around to doing the mod i will tell the results.

but the pullback rears work real well for my bit before on my tiles all the car use to do was spin out on full boost now it drive straight but with hard tires on the front it kinda has bigger turning circles.

i really have to try the front wheel mod if acar is lower it always handles better i say.

    hello again

i was checking out there website to see if the 200mah batteries were in and i found this one

    http://www.batterieswholesale.com/products_batteries/nimh/nickel-metal-hydride-13-aaa-210-h.htm

is this one too large to fit in a micro??

because the measurements are all screwed with this site the 1/4aaa are actually 1/3aaa so would a 1/3aaa be a 1/2aaa in real life??????

    just wondering

i got a car with pull back rims on the rear axel the traction it has now is very good. it can cope with the huge amount of speed generated by this mod, would pullback rims on the front improve steering aswell or are the tires tooo sticky and all it will do will make the car flip????

any advice would be great i just want to know before i start chopping up the front rims on my BCG. :smiley2:

remember its only like 3 days before the new range comes in.

maybe it will pick up then. fingers crossed.

i bought a BCG off ebay a few weeks ago and after i paid for the item the ebay officails emailed me warning me not to pay for the item because it infringed on copyright!?#$%???

i got the BCG from the seller and it works fine.

also BCG stuff on ebay has fallen dramatically over the last few weeks there is hardly anything left to buy. is it cause of the copyright stuff sellers are no longer selling things on ebay???

    hello all again

i bought another 2 more h-1 hummers and i have to say i really like these cars. i already own from before and got the mosfet mod done by micro_amps (it flyssss btw)

i bought the new ones from tradingdirect for 12 bucks (ozzie) each what a deal!

but i got one question. i bought a 57mhz red hummer and a 27mhz sand camo hummer but the red hummer is a lot faster!!

what motor is in the red hummer???
i know these cars are clones so the motors might vary a lot depending on which car, but the 57hmz car is alot faster stock then the 27mhz cars i have bought now and in the past?????
