take off all the parts of the car tyhat have not use. For example, take off the spoiler on your car or dremels down some parts of your chassis. Heck, maybe even remake a body out of somethinf lighter… the possibilities are endless

thanks for all this info but I’ve finally decided not to solder or cut the wires at all. Although the car is a bit slow (slower than a 2.2, maybe a 2.0 cuz it’s got a dark green cap) It gives the car amazing run-time witha 30 second charge ( almost 5 minutes with a 30 sec charge) so, thanks for all the info, I might do this to another car if I get another one but in the meantime, nah, no soldering for me yet.

thanks, is it possible to cut the wires, then place one on the side of a motor, one on the end?

ah, thanks. I went to the night market and they had clones for 10 bucks canadian!!!!! I bought an Auldey clone for 8 bucks and the range is amazing!! I was working with it downstairs and it interupted the call my mom was having in her upstairs room. (27 mhz) the only problem is that it’s run time isn’t so good and it’s motor has a green cap and is hard-wired to the chassis. Anyone know how to change that without doing something risky?

ah… thanks for the heads up. I ended up buying some car called thunder charger racers or something like that. I got them for 10 bucks cabnadian. tHery are pretty fast and mine came with a yello motor. It was very noisy, it’s right turn is awesome but it’s left turn dosen’t work. Tonight, I will go to the nightmarket and see if I can get myself a bit char-a for 10 bucks ( My friend bought his for 10 bucks…) so, I’ll tell you all what’s going with the car as soon as I can finish playing with…er…testing it out for all of you

that is very nice. I am VERY tempted but since I only have one mini z and I can’t afford to screw it up, I can’t do anything about it… 🙁

Are there any other videos? I don’t seem to be able to see the video. oh, and whomever said less traction on the front was right. I tried it out with my mini z and now I can drift with the miniz!!! Just not my bit yet…

I think I’ll buy a clone to start with and a ms later on, thanks to all those who aswered this post.

Does anyone have any videos of Bits actually drifting? I’ve seen 1/10 cars and mini zs drift before, but never a bit. A video of it just sliding around would be great too, I guess

ah… I just wanted a car to mod very slightly (change tires, colour the body, etc) I was going to race some kid I know who has a bit char-a and god it’s fast and it’s steering is good. It can even run on carpet. I had my sights set on either a ms or a clone but now, I think I’ll buy both…

i read somewhere that if you spray paint a track with chalk board spray, you will get good grip. So what if I do that but put a pinch of chalk dust where I want the car to drif… will that work?

I was aiming for a bit char-a instead of a lxx because I like to buy from stores and not online. the only place that I know of in Richmond, Vancouver which sells clones sells only bit char-a and no lxx… still, are Bit char-a that good? I’ve seen quite alot of other people who own this car and say it’s better than the normal microsizers and BCGs. I personally don’t know anything about this… and please, a comparison between Bit Char-a and Microsizers anyone?

trust me, the mini z will drift right after you drive it around for a few days and when the wheels collect dust. That’s what happened to mine. I usually drift by making the mini z go at half the possibl speed and just when I need to furn, I accelerate and turn in whatever direction I need to go. Works fine for my CLK-GTR

I forgot to mention that I only have a 2.2 and a 1.0 motor. I don’t know where I can buy a motor over 2.6 in Vancouver so… is dual speed right for me? After all, even with a 2.6, without the boost, it will drive like a 1.6 I was told

I’m actually not going to race with my bit that much since most of my friends aren’t playing withbits or own any bits… I dunno. I want a new bit but choosing between the microsizer pro and sport editions is driving me nuts:angry:

I own a mini z and it drifted right out of the box. I was hoping for the same with my first bit adn when that didn’t happen, it started modding it and basically broke it in the process. That’s why I don’t really want to mod the car as in the actual chassis that much

ah… after knowing that, I’m probably gonna go buy teh microsizers spart series instead of the pro series. I was thinking that on unboosted, it would run like a 2.2 with a 2.2 motor but with boost, it will get a sudden surge of volatage and go faster at about a 2.6 speed… thanks for clearing that up

well, instead of buying that set, why not just do a mod using the hot wheels wheels and slap them onto and axel? Saves money

I have a few tires that say goodyear on them. I got them off of an old pullback from some Japanese racing cartoon. the front tires are perfect for the rear BCG rims and teh rear pullback tires can be used if you want to make a dragster. I’m sorry that I don’t know which cartoon it was from and where you can buy them now though:sad:
