in my opinion, the SBCGs are more of a racing bit. My theory is taht tomy came out with a car that was just meant to be driven around in an open space and now that they are sure epopel want to race with their bits, they made a bit that withh handle better and (I think)will be able to put full power into teh motors. the range thing is just a glich and I think it will be repaired in the near future. however, who really needs all that range to get around on a track?

I guess that the bottom line is that SBCGs are for actual “competieive” racing and BCGs were just an “experimental popularity test”

thanks for the info. Now for a buying question. Should I choose it over a tomy BCG which costs a little bit more (about 2 dollars)?

one more possibility is that one of the rear wwheels isn’t stuck on the axela dn instead rotates freely.

I dunno. found on toysnjoys that they have sets for 15 US and I’m thinking of rying to convince my dad to buy from there. I’m aiming for the Initial D set ( the one with teh trueno and the RX-7) because all in all, it’s be 30 bucks (US) plus shipping and handleing to where I live
ps. I’ve decided not to get ZZ SE. Don’t ask why

60 is Canadian. My dad dosen’t really like ordering online so… I thinl the only way for me to be able to get a super Bit Char-g would be to either wait till the summer to go to Hong Kong or buy one for 60 bucks Canadian.

I live right next to the border( a 45 min drive) and the savannah does not suck… It looks the best out of all the starter sets so far. Oh well… personal preferance. I was just wondering, though, how much do you reckon it would cost me to get it shipped to me (Vancouver)through 1-800-the-shack ? if it isn’t too much, maybe I’ll get it shipped instead.

One more question. Is the ZZ SE a better deal or a Super Bit Char-g at about 60 bucks?

I heard that the left turn on most ZZ SE don’t work too well… and also that people usually get about 5 minutes on a single charge with the stock battery. I dunno any of this I want one but i live in Canada and I don’t think they sell ZZ SE in Canada. Maybe go over the border to get this? I noticed that the body of the car sits a tad too high on the actual guts of the car. Anyone tried to lower the body?

In Canada, that’s over the speed limit. I’m afraid that I am going to have to report you to the police for speeding and driving the car without a permit.
I’m kidding about reporting you but really, that’s over the speed limit. Does it flip overt when you turn or can you actually steer the thing?

I’m not too happy with my thunder charger now. I’ve ripped it apart adn taken whatever I can to put on my Auldey Clone. However, the motor was a tellw capped motor. I ended up using the thunder charger body to paint an initial d-ish AE86. I’ll post pics as soon as I can.

By the way, How do I post pics?
