I spose i could help you, but first, show some pics etc.
Make sure the positive wire goes to the tab on the left side of the car.
(looking at it from the back)
I think the future of bits is the new aerogel capacitors….2000 times the volumetric capacitance of electrolytics……
Damn it……i am completely confused as to what i want to get now…..mini z is looking more and more like a kid’s toy everyday. But i dont want to spend too much (saving for a NISSAN 200SX(probably for the rest of my life))
Is there any other good options, like the tamiya tamtech or watever.
Ohhhh you bought one of those mini l’espion cameras?
Yeah they only have a res of 0.1 megapixel.
But theyre cheap as….95 AUD 30 GBP
my dad might have some genuine STI seats for sale?
Drop me a email at U color=#0000ffAndrewclarkey@aol.com/Uand ill tell you the price but rember they are STI so they will be expencive they are the black ones with cherry inserts
haha. yep, they rule. they have got to be the most sophisticated rc-like things this size and price as of now. b
hey, the russian tank is about the same as a “slow” 1.0. the german one is like a .5 or something. but remember you gotta be able to spin and shoot. b
Do you reckon it is worth the money ? Are they upgradeable as are the Auldey ? Do they come with different frequencies ?
Just thought at $15 each, we could get a lunch time racing club going at work :smiley4:
Yeah, we’ve bought a few of them here at work.
They are SO close to the Auldey it’s not funny, but we’re pretty sure they’re a rip-off
hey derek, i finally got my WRX wagon. not WR blue, but the silver color to hide my laziness. gotta break in the motor, but i already ordered the vishnu stage 0 and am heavily debating the stage 2 which is 350hp on pump gas!!
i haven’t even gotten 100 miles on it yet and i feel “happier” in it than my s2000. maybe it is so easy going. anyways, i tried to look for the newsgroup and it looked like it was closed ot something. yeah, the sti seats are nice looking. if you could get some prices for me, that would be awesome. also, if the rally team has any extra stuff like barely used front mounts IC’s and stuff let me know. if they got any advice, i’d love to hear that too. thanks b

Good news!I found a some more and of these NIMH 1.2v batteries,so if ya want any give me a holla at glennalways@hotmail.com and i can arrange delivery from NZ to AUS for say $15-20AUS each!!
I’ve removed the rims from a genuine Bit Char-g using a small screwdriver and hammer. Yes, the original Bit Char-g has barbs on the front axles which makes it much more difficult but you just have to hit harder. The trick to not bending your rim is DON’T HOLD THE RIM WITH PLIERS!!! Drill a hole in a piece of wood big enough for the axle pin to go through. Then put the wheel down on the wood and pound the axle out through the hole you just drilled. This way you have even pressure all the way around the wheel as you’re pounding the axle out. I’ve done this a number of times with great success. The only problem with the barb type axle is you can only pound them out 5 or 6 times before they start getting lose.

Instead of swaping therims why not just swap the whole wheel and the plastic turning thingies with anther set by dissmating the front end there is a good turorial on this site and then you dont have to run the risk of Smashin the rims
yeah it is cool suprized that the pic off the cars playing soccer ant there as well but the town would be cool to make
with a little night club to drive ya skyline past and chicks to pick up lol

That little hummer is amazing!
Just wondering, if you were a Kyosho engineer for a day, where you might run a dogbone or belt to drive a front diff on a 4WD Mini-Z. I’ve just been looking at mine and I can’t find anywhere for them to squeeze such a drive mechanism in.
Cheers
Derek
I still want a Mad Max II Ford Interceptor 😀
Or even the falcon coupe to mod into one 😉
PandaBear – what size were the servos in those things? Remember what they were called? Would like some pix from inside….
Thanks
Derek
Doh – why is it that my local Toy’s R Us (Parramatta) doesn’t stock them? I’ve only seen one or two compacts at Target, but only the one at Carlingford.
I was looking at getting the Speed Racer and Yoshi from Toyseast – until I saw the US$10 eachshipping fee on top
But do they stock these micro switches?
Im not to sure?I havent realy asked for anything like this before but im sure there would be something out as there normaly is!Ill try DS tomorrow and see whats haps with them!Im sorry about your dealings with Jaycar maybe they had a off day?I havent tried them yet as i didnt know about them till da other day but you reckon they would stock them?????
Well TBH its a bit before my time also, I’m only 21 :smiley1: Have been driving for 4 or so years though! I’m a huge manga/anime fan ya see, thats why I know about Speedracer/Mach Go Go Go.
I’d love to see some cars from American TV shows like KITT from Knight Rider or the car from Dukes of Hazzard – or what about something from the A-Team :smiley4:
As for cartoons, Jason and the Wheeled Warriors had a lot of cool looking vehicles!
The Scooby Doo Mystery Machine would be great! Or what about some of the cars from (damn forget its name!) that cartoon made by Hanna Babara and had loads of characters racing each other e.g. Dastardly & Mutley, Yogi etc.
Ah! Happy days :smiley1:
Sorry!I brought an old SLR camera out of the paper and ripped it apart to find three NIMH batteries not bad seeing the cam only cost me 6 bucks!
I think they look excellent! I hope that Tomy do release more models based on ‘real’ cars but I alos hope they keep releasing this type of stuff too. Barrell, fans of Speedracer/Mach Go Go Go/Ultraman would probably disagree with you!
