The rims on the gloria look awesome.
The AE looks like a beast with those massive fats on the back. Do you think the rear tires increase speed?

Perhaps you could collect photos form people who have purchased and painted, and display on your site. I saw some photos of your stuff, but not on yor site, perhaps you need to track it down and use it.

As you said, the clear shells don’t photograph well, and people need an idea of what they’re buying.

Yeah. I used to be able to open all my mates holdens when I had my kingswood. Could only start a two of them though. The ignition mechanism was better than the door lock.

Talk with battery professionals like Battery World. Tell them the size of the battery you have, and ask them what the recommended charge and time is for a quick full charge.

There’s a thread in here on Custom Bodies. I think that guy is in the states, thus doing a few Yank Tanks.

You’ll find you need to buy yor stuff online mostly, or off guys in here. Theres another thread running on who’s reputable to buy from, but I can’t think what that thread is called. Keep your eye on the Active Topics list.

CharG Thong soccer – Very Aussie.

My best mate and I did a little CharG Drink Driving at Xmas (I gave him a gloria). The missus came in after midnight and put her car in the middle of track saying she was a police road block.

Pick the car up and look at the wheels while you press left and right on the controller. Do the wheels turn? If not then it might be the magnet has come loose, or the coils that pull the magnet (and thus the steering) have come away from the inside of the car. Either way you may need to superglue these parts back into place.

The spring may be loose inside the steering area. Or there might be something metal ( metal shavings, paperclip, pin etc.) in there, or under the car.

There’s a few older discussions in the forums on busted steering and possible fixes. Maybe someone should compile a steering fix bible with pictures??

I think if you have the inners from the Matchbox or HotWheels car, and you cut them down so that you perhaps ended up with 2 seat backs and headrests it would then look normal again when looking in from the side windows. Paint the PCB cover to match the new interior. Just throwing around ideas.

I wonder if a pin head could be painted to look like a race helmet?
