no worries mate… gotta get the colour right first… matching paint colours is one of the least favourite part of my job, but i think i’ve almost got it…
no. 21 is just the song i sent you… there’s about 50 more than that… look for the badgers taking over football (it’s Pom site so they mean soccer…), and an alternate L.O.T.R. trailer featuring… you guessed it…
badgers rule!!!do i? You never told me of an Iwaver purchase… And ive been told i may well have my Merc shell #5 (!!) by the weekend… optimism mate. Gotta have it… 900s eh? Greenies. Not bad. Got a charger yet? And on the waiting note, EVERYTHING i’ve been waiting on has arrived since coming back from holidays… ‘cept the AMG, which is not far away…
badgers rule!!!not that i’m waiting, but my stuff will be here by weeks end… as will yours. And I heard you have shares in Powertech now… lol How many sets again?? Tell us all…
badgers rule!!!Quote:whats this about badgers and mushrooms?:8ball:z-beam; go to weebls stuff.com and you’ll see… lol
this is cutting seriously into my G.T.A. time, but it’s on for this Sunday the 23rd of Jan… first for the new year!!! Time to get the head count!! T.D.; looks like you’re in… i’ll guess big Dave is too, as is myself, Mocky spoke to me on the weekend and says he will be present on Sunday… who else? Kev? Petewah? What about M.K./Roe?? They still about? Do we want the track too? Is anybody listening to me?:smiley2::clown: lol
what other gpm monster parts are coming my friend?
Quote:Hmm, Mini-Zs are starting to look the way to go. Hop-ups are Mods yes? Ive actually seen ur gallery before, i luv it! How quick can these things get, and how much am i looking at spending on a single Mini-Z, to get it pretty quick?
Thanks heaps for the reply!its up to what you want to do, and how fast you want to go… bearings, ball diff and carbon h plates are a must, an x speed wont do any harm either. Add a 10 tooth pinion to that and you’ve got a 30kph Z in your control… speeds beyond that need tampering with the electronics. mr-02s are’nt bad, but hop-ups can be a bit pricier, like the ’02 itself. Have’nt really run my ’02 since i got it (about 6 months ago…) So, to answer your question, about 250 all up, with bearings and the other stuff i mentioned up top. Merc; badgerbadgerbadgerMUSHROOM!!! (i take it you know i’m refering to your avatar…:smiley16:)

Welcome provoked!! Char-gs are where alot of us started… fun little machines (especially modded), as are the Super slicks. xmods can be a little hard to come by over here unless ebay is an option for you (even then, mine took about two months to get here…), whereas the Mini Z can be sourced about anywhere (i’ve got a brand new Taisan Plus E Porsche Mini Z for sale if interested… 150aud…), hop-ups are easier to get too. Both Xmod and MiniZ are highly moddable, but the Mini Z gets my vote hands down.(go look in my gallery (link under this post; you’ll see what I mean!!), you’ll find the choice I made…) Depends how far you want to go modding these things… i’ve managed to part with about $2000 (no s**t!!!) on Zs alone (there is 5 in my collection, however…), and i dont believe it’ll end there. You can go all out, or just mildly hop-up, it’s up to the owner. You in Sydney? We also have a Mini Z race meet (and there’s one the Melbourne guys go to, too), with a track, and about 6 – 8 cars running at one time… quite a cool way to kill a Sunday arvo. Anyway, nattered on enough…
i think around 25aud… will have to double check. Have a blank Monster floating around at home that i think may be getting a holiday…:D
pm on the way…so how much to have my Supra shell sprayed Z-beam? lol looks neat as…:approve:
oops… my mistake…:blush::smiley2:
that’s not too bad then… my PDs need a rebuild every 5-7 runs… can be costly
the tighter turn one way than the other can be fixed by adjusting the ball diff for a little more slip
was everything running ok (steering, throttle, etc.) before you attempted this mod? The potentiometre (thing that centres ya steerin) could have lost a soldered wire… but it sounds like you’ve fried a few other bits in there mate. Afew of guys on this site (myself NOT included) are major tech-heads when it comes to these cars inner workings… one of em’ll help you out, no doubt. Welcome to the land of Z…:smiley2::D

hey!!! Nuff ‘o that!
Me no frustrated…:D Nice choice of colour, Aaron… its coming along nicely…:smiley16:Edited by – dgs73 on 11 January 2005 10:50:18
oh, coolies… yeah, those front air-dam type things come off faster than the wing mirrors so that was a good idea… love the avatar too mate. Very trippy…:approve:
top quality stuff there, mate. Top of the class for that one… one thing; that’s an 02 Supra, yes?
loose the coloured screws, they’re smaller diam. than the stock… thanks for the warning in advance with the ball joints though. Mine have stayed pretty well, is it because of the alum. damper stays that the ball joints are coming out, or just general wear ‘n tear? oh, and Snailpace; no effect on the shock movement whatsoever, at least on mine… how ’bout yours Aaron?
Bithed calls them “shock boots”; made by him, they come in red, blue or yellow (for the stock, low-down or oil shocks respectively), and keep the majority of gunk out of the shock shaft area… meaning smoother movement for longer periods before needing to be cleaned out.
