there we go!! Too easy…
Ausmicro on PSP… whatever next?
how do they compare to standard rims, weight wise? Or alloys? They look to be heavier than standard. That H plate is clever though…
drilling is no problem dude… all part of service…
as for the pcb material, you should be able to pick it up from Jaycar or a similar electronics store… let me know ir you have any issues finding some
Quote:z-beam wrote:ok, after downloading that vid of them in action and converting it to mp4 and watching it on the psp while smoking a ciggy i became highly excited!
screw the chassis set, Aaron i want that white ready-set you have on pre order and i want it a.s.a.p! a fourth working controller could come in handy down the road!
damn that drift action looked sweet as!
yeah, it looks good on my phone too… lol liked those three Initial D cars doing their thing… cant wait till i get mine…
…and I buy everything!! Works out well, don’t you think?
don’t leave me out of that loop… Zbeam – have a catalogue of umd movies and games (plus the usual ps2, Xbox, Nin., etc.) from Japan (cheers Bithed!!), might be a good place for you to start… raised my eyebrows… i’ll leave it at that
Zbeam; i hear you need some CNC engraving done… yeah, that’s one old site there, but it’s a goodie… personally, I like the Cobra (and the ‘soccer mum’ van, but hey…) Anywho, as Pete sez, i’m your man. Tools and engravers next to me, skills always with me… haha. Mate, no worries, just get the pcb material to me, mail or otherwise, andthe total length you want it to be (the h-plate) in mm (to a 1/100th of a mm; or if that’s annoying, send the chassis and shell so I can fit it 100%; now that I think of it, that’d be much easier…) Oh, and yes, i’veengraved/cut outof pcb material before…
Bithed; ta for the package, recieved yesterday… many, many things we gotta chat about that were in that catalogue dood (WHAT????? FFVII movie??? On PSP??? Where do I sign?????… hahaha *not kidding* hahaha), plus nice to find out about stuff like Soul Calibur 3 and Biohazard 4 (Resident Evil, for the casual gamers out there…) for PS2…
oh, this is good to hear… i’ll get the troops together and see what we need… will get back to you..
Zbeam; thanks again foryour onfo on Saturday night, very handy!! Expains why my battery was”nt lasting… and yes, wasvery impressed with the multi-player ability, now i”ve just gotta get Novin to bring his PSP with him more often when he heads over… WipEout Pure linked is a MUST…

Kev; try adding a little spray glue (3M, etc.),it’ll help the tape stay stuck better…
plus, I noticed when we used hose that some bodies (narrows usually; not as low as wide bodies) gave the Z the ability to hop over barriers and keep going… Focca’s BMW was one that’d do it, no issues…
could pin em in place I ‘spose… but like J and Big Dave say though, just don’t hit the edges!!! No issues then… lol Actually betty, we used to use hose before we did this whole foam mat thing… actually, that idea came to us before even the pvc condute option… we’ll figure something out. We’re a cluey bunch…
yeah, what he sez!!!
we’re after a non-grip edging solution for our indoor foam track… hose would decrease our driving line by a further 20mm… as it is, 580mm lanes are almost too narrow (and are too narrow for some…
), so are looking at alternatives that do not cut into surface area… I might try vinyl on mine, will let y’all know how it goes.
yeah, that’d be a cheaper way to do it than my suggestion…
avoiding thoses edges will make us better drivers… i find we hit em on occasion, but we dont get stuck unless hitting it almost dead on… i’d suggest vinyl Kev, as it’s glossy as on the face, and will hold together better than masking… plus the imact absorption will not be decreased… always a plus…
i use this particular tx myself, but in 29mhz… nice radio. betty; keep an eye on the foam around the steering wheel, it shifts occasionally, and can make you think thesteering trimis out, where as actually it’s just rubbing against the main body of the controller…
yeah, i’ve still got Snoopy Tennis and Oil Panic (i think the top screen on that is dead) at my parents place… Snoopy’s in top nick (the box ain’t… lol), but loathe to sell it. Got the keyring version of the single screen Donkey Kong at home Panda, these were available up to late last year at our local post office, 10 bucks. Mate they really condensed up the internals…
noted.. ta guys. Zbeam; expect a call at about 7pm tonight…
showing my age there… yeah, you’re right Panda. I was going by a tiny image and my faded memory of g&w’s… but was more meaning the styling. Closest to their g&w counterpart. Oh, like Zbeam, i missed the point you made in this topic about not updating the system to 2.0, and have also done the same upgrade… enclosed printed materials stating it was necessary saw me following the instructions to the letter…
damn, that is one thick instruction book!!! Now that i’ve plowed through that, all is good. Z-beam; Medievil is wicked, the graphics are top notch (and these are first gen. titles!!! oh yeah…
) Got WipEout Pure on Sat., have opened the Beta league and thats about it. Going to look into this Lumines game next week, anyone seen/played it? Thoughts? Oh, Z; the usb cable, is it genuine? How much you want for it? Other than a bigger memory card that’s the only other item I can see myself wanting… other than the speakers for it… lol… time to hide my cashcard again…
GBM looks just like the original game & watch from when i was a little tacker… anywho, thought i’d let you’ll know, i got my PSP yesterday, v.1.52. Got the value pack, also grabbed Medievil. (i know i was going to get WipeOut first Z-beam, but i could’nt help myself when i saw this… will get that next week)
hot damn… i cant wait till this is up
