Where is the graupner available from? BTW are you finding you have to glue your tires or are they sticking well enough without it?
Tower has them back in stock, but still no Recivers or Servos, so you need an other vendor for them…
All my parts are marked as shipped 🙂
I hae done some test sprays so far, but will be using it on a lexan.
Having a bit of a play with diferent backing sprays at the moment.
Hmmm… Now I am feeling the Pain…
“Thank you for your recent order with Tower Hobbies.Unfortunately, the Associated Factory Team RC18T Kit that you ordered
is not available.”
BASSSTTAAARRRDDDDDSSSSS!!!!!!O.K. Now I have got that off my chest.
It was available when I put the order through, but obviosly there Shopping cart doesn’t keep real time track of some things.Hey Z Beam. I am having a play with teh tamiya Geen/purple… It is looking really purple and yours looks prety green… also did you find you had to use a lot of coats to get it to show up?
Yep… I’ll race mine with you just untill you gut your ESC supe up your motor and start leaving me on the starting line looking like a snail on valium.
So I had better get it put together within the next week or so right?[EDIT]BTW What Rims & Rubber are you running for on road?[/EDIT]

Yeah I had a chat with him last week about em. They look like they will be a blast.
I Highly recomend them.
My Madforce is now popping on it’s back end and skitting across the back yard like a lizard on it’s rear legs. And that is on grass. From what I understand most metalic paints are simply a carrying agent and metal particles, so would a mix of two metalic paints cause this effect, EG would a mix of blue and yellow metalic paints give this effect or would it give you green?
I have found a selection of “Colour Change” paint on this site
http://www.spazstix.com/
But they all seem to be in liquid form (Not airasole), so you need your own airbrushHave you contacted them about it? I have found that when I have had issues they can be resonable if you spell things out clearly to them. I have had two issues with Tower purchases. They both ended up with them Crediting my account. Tower are over all prety good at holding return customers.
Can’t you drop a separate Batt pack on your RX and servo? this isolates the voltage for the receiver from the Motor, and should alleviate the issue.
I have always had my things shipped by Air From tower, and have always recieved the goods within 10 days.
Apparently there serface shipping is renowned for Extreme wait times
Torque… Well as I said I can spin the wheels on carpet, and it just launches… That is with a 10 tooth pinion. I am tempted to go down to 9 just to see how insane it can be…
Z-Beam have you seen any where else that other colors of that multicolour paint you used.
The Tamiya green shot purple that you have used is prety cool, but the Gold shot pink that they have is prety mediocre to say the least. I am looking for somthing in either blue shot red or Dark blue shot with Light blue. (A Real Ligtning colour)When looking for Info on 1:10th for my Maxx I was directed to this page for info.

It has some good info on how oil behaves. For the size of the shock and “valve” on a Miniz hard oil will lock up on initial impact quite a lot. This will almost make it behave like you have no suspension whatsoever. Have a read and draw your own conclusion, but I’d say really heavy oil on a Z would be a bad thing.
No Shaft Driven car needs to have Torque steer.
When you understand why the Ka-50 HOKUM has no tail rotor you will understand why…Quote:i’m trying to order there now but my cc won’t get verified. has anyone else been asked to send a photo copy of their credit card and photo id? i just wanna be sure it’s towerhobbies asking me for this and not a scamYeah I had this issue with both tower and hobbypeople. There has been no ill come of my scanning and sending them the docos… Yet.
You Bet it is two packs. The ESC Is actually capable of taking 16.8V so you can run 2*7 cell packs on them. Apparently that is the way to get them to realy move.
I have been looking at 1/18th, and the 18T is definately looking like th etop contender.
Once thing that comes to mind, can you put longer shocks on em and up ther eclearance at all? And/Or do they fit the MiniT hopup Alloy shocks made by GPM?
