I just did some tests runs with my MMZ on the rippled side of this stuff…

I was sliding around all over the shop.

Great for a drift session, but not looking raceable

    4WD yes… AWD No.

It doesn’t appear they have a Center Dif, and that is the mark of an AWD

To get totally off topic, GAWD the E-Maxx is sexy!

Yes they are. I had mine out on a beach on the weekend and spent more time airborn than on the ground. They are a compleat beast.

    Hmmm… I realy like that.

So will one of these things handle a nelly and a Plasma Atomic?

    [EDIT]

Though it looks like no more using Mini Monster Parts for the Suspension Arms

Or you can import them from tower for less than 100USD (Plus postage) for the Kit. or just under 200 USD as a RTR

Well the RS4 is a 4WD Car, so get enough torque in it and you should be able to drift fine.

Because of the dimensions you’ll probably be best off going for somewhere like a Basketball court to try it, but it should be a buzz

If you wrap the tires in tape you can run on some carpet… on Tiles you will find that gives you to little grip and makes it a bugger to get started.

The other problem with tiles is you have the grout lines that will bugger up your drift all the time, you are better of with a lino flaw, or polished boards.

Drifting is about loosing traction with all wheels and maintaining a controlled slide.

The Mini-Z is a 2WD car, so can never truely drift.

You can establish a drift then counter steer into it and simulate a proper drift in this fasion.

If you want drift, you need to have maximum torque, and minimum grip.

I have managed to drift both my OL and My MMZ, the OL running with a standard X Speed, and the Monster with a Plasma atomic and a Whoa Nelly. The Key is having the right serface after that. (And the right tires)

Oh trust me, if I don’t have a pick of the Paj Evo 2 it doesn’t exist.

I have everything of the Mitsubishi site, and the Dakar site, and several car mag sites, and multiple Auto show shites … … …

It is the only car ever I have been truly obsessed over.

Apparently Solido has released a 18th Diecast of it. If any one finds one PLEASE send me the link to where I can buy it.

your Avatar…..The repsol looks like a sexy beast, wish they had of done it as a Overland Shell

The Pic in My Av is teh Paj Evo 2 2005 for the Barcelona to Dakar. but if you have a look, it has no number, this pick was from them doing the shakeout. The body is the same as what you have, the only diference is the wing has been replaced by the little kicker. and yeah the paint scheme. Personaly I prefer the 2003/2004 Paint scheme

    [EDIT]

I’ll take that back, the body work on the 2005 Paj Evo 2 is a little diferent, they have changed the venting on the top, at the rear, and it is posible (Though I am having trouble finding a pair of pics that confirm it positivly) that they have broadened the back a little

Dakar Pajero Evo, Its the French car with the number 206 and as ugly as it is its growing on me FAST

Hey Watch what you are Calling Ugly!!!

The Pajero Evo 2 is the Most Sexy Car ever Built.

I didn’t buy my mini Z because I wanted a RC Car, I bought it because it was an Evo 2

I am still trying to decide though if I prefer the 2003 model with the big wing, or the 2004 with the little kicker at the rear.

But Hey, They are just plain Sexy!

We have had wate rrestrictions here for around a year, but that is only because the polies havn’t had the balls to put them in place before then.

The reality is that Vic should have had water restrictions for the last 8 years or so.

The other reality is that water restrictions don’t apply to Industry which uses the vast percentage of our drinking water.

Hmmm… Having to Negotiate with the Wife for the car, but Hopefully will bring my 18T, My Mini Monster, and My maxx down… Not sure what I’ll do with the maxx, as running it on a track will be sort of like running a tractor on a go cart track.

So far my info on Car handleing has come from this site

    http://users.pandora.be/elvo/

Not sure how it stacks up, but it is over all very readable and doesn’t cost $30 cool.gif

Any chance you could tell us how it stacks up to the book Kev?

Runing a Speed 300 as you sugested, and Thoroughly impressed with it.

When the little thing gets off the ground you can hear the engine spin up to insane speeds.

It has inspired me to get some 7 cell packs put together for my Maxx, because having my 1:18th outrun my 1:10th is not the way the world shjould be.

When are people next down at Templestow, I ll have to get down there and see how it goes with some compitition cool.gif
